23. Evans Realfeel 2-Sided Practice Pad, 12 Inch

    Features:
  • PRACTICE ANYTIME, ANYWHERE - Evans RealFeel Drum Practice Pad provides the best practice substitute to acoustic drums, so you can practice rudiments, paradiddles or just drum along to that song on the radio – without disturbing anyone. Portable and quiet, it works on any surface including carpet, table, lap or inside a standard snare basket.
  • TWO-SIDED DRUM PAD – The two-sided design of the practice drum pad gives you options for the type of practice you are doing. One side features a slightly textured natural gum rubber for realistic stick rebound. The other side features a harder, firmer recycled rubber with less rebound for a real practice workout.
  • AVAILABLE IN 3 SIZES – A variety of RealFeel drum practice pads are available to suit individual practice requirements including a 6” practice pad, 7” apprentice practice pad and a 12” practice pad (not mountable).
  • DRUM PADS FOR ALL DRUMMERS - From the beginner practicing in the back of mom’s car on the way to lessons to the professional practicing on the tour bus, RealFeel practice pads suit every player’s practice needs, no matter how demanding. The natural gum rubber side is finished with a dark gray fabric that resists wear and tear.
  • MADE IN THE USA - For over 40 years, Evans has been a pioneer in drum head manufacturing and design. All RealFeel practice pads for drumming are proudly designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA to the most stringent quality controls in the industry.

no problem man i recently bought a laptop and was in the same spot. I spent hours and hours reading about gaming laptops and finally settled on this one https://www.amazon.com/GL552VW-DH71-15-Inch-Discrete-GeForce-Metallic/dp/B01578ZKPO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1478746639&sr=1-1&keywords=asus+rog+laptops I actually havnt tried running DS3 on it because i play on ps4 mostly but im pretty certain i could run it on moderately hi settings.

Hyper X

These are GREAT and fairly cheap!

The only thing you really need in the beginning is a practice pad like that one, this book and a pair of sticks.

If you can bear practicing like this without giving up because of the boredom that is learning the fundamentals, a second-hand e-drum kit is an inexpensive and space-saving way of getting into playing on a whole set. It also means you won't annoy your neighbors too much.

I'm planning on getting [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Xbox-Wireless-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000HZFCT2). Kinda doubting if it'll work but I'm positive.

Its been a long journey but I am definitely still learning. The book Drawing with the Left Side of the Brain has a lot of really decent activities that can get you started: https://www.amazon.com/Drawing-Right-Side-Brain-Definitive/dp/1585429201

The problem is that it is like any other skill in that the time involved getting to a level you are happy with can take a LOT of time and forces you to neglect other things you could be doing with your time.

Does anyone know the difference between the full game with the season pass and the Fire Fades Edition?

I'm planning on buying the game and on Steam it costs ~55€ but on Amazon I can preorder the special edition for only 30£ which is way less, even if you add some shipping fee (I live in France)

Ahh, I forget that they're not as common place in some places.

You can order one on amazon, like this one

https://www.amazon.com/Afterglow-Wireless-Controller-Blue-playstation-3/dp/B017VLXH3C/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1527800005&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=afterglow+controller&dpPl=1&dpID=512rdTi1eQL&ref=plSrch

It's literally the same one I use. Even though it's a PS3 controller, Windows will recognize it as ad Xbox Controller, so you don't need any special drivers for it to work. Just plug and play.

Scholar was a 64-bit port for a 32-bit game. However, it was still programmed to run under 32-bit memory restrictions.

DS3 is a natively 64-bit game, which means it is built with the assumption that the game can and WILL run over 3.9gb RAM at most times. Because of this, I really doubt you'll be able to.

Here is a 60-buck 8gb memory board for laptop, and a really good one at that.

You can't purchase from amazon.com within canada. Change the URL to .ca . like this = http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0191J0RXA/?th=1&psc=1

They have listings for the standard edition on amazon but they are currently unavailable. My guess is they will be in stock in a few weeks just keep an eye on it
