The last "ultimate collection" was Seekers of Adoulin, and was only available as a physical copy for XB360 for $200 USD.

I've searched for as many of the game boxes as I could on Amazon, you might find them at your local game store. Hope this helps get you started.

Assuming you still know your S/E ID, POL ID, and associated passwords you can simply torrent the ISOs for the discs and install from those. The CD keys/Content IDs are tied to your account, so simply installing and logging in will give you access to the game.

Torrent: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/5179164/ [basically just google "ffxi iso torrent" and pick your preferred tracker]

If you are completely without any ability to get back in to your previous account then you need to buy it. If you can't get it from Steam then there is always Amazon or direct from S/E's site.

Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XI-Ultimate-Collection/dp/B004V9QC80

S/E: http://finalfantasyxi.com/

If you can't find somewhere online that will sell you a copy because of the country you live in you'll need to find someone you trust that can buy it for you on Steam and email you the CD keys.

The xbox one has it's own usb dongle separate from the 360 one. I have been using this one since I came back that came out late last year and it has been great.

I bought this and it for sure runs the game. It’s super inexpensive, but it is also very crappy. Mine got an unregistered version of windows, which leaves a watermark at the bottom right corner. The seller is complete garbage, and there are a few commenters that received a non working device. But hey! It runs the game! If you are super budget it works. I’d probably go for the other pc linked in this thread.

I assume the wireless card is connected to a PCIe 1x slot? You could get something like this, and see if you could reorganize the devices in your machine. I know in my towers I usually have extra space, just am limited by the positioning of the actual PCI slots on the motherboard.

1st try the different premade configurations in the configuration tool, for some reason it’s REALLY funky but some work and some won't even after adjusting the settings.

If that doesn't work try this:
Sony DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KWLKKQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_R5ehzb5C14DPH

It's an adapter made by sony specifically for Dualshock 4 controllers to connect to PC, no emulation software needed.

Here's the controller/adapter kit for those interested:

This is where I got mine-
Amazon FFXI
Don't know if that works in your country though.

This is unlikely to work. Wine is not an emulator. It does not emulate a windows PC, it only adds a pretend windows-environment that windows programs see instead of the linux environment. It translates windows system calls into linux system calls, and translates directx calls into opengl/vulkan calls. It does not translate x86 machine code to ARM machine code.

Wine only works for x86-windows to x86-linux. The Raspberry Pi does not have enough power to emulate an x86 processor. It would have to be at least an order of magnitude more powerful, if not two.

I suppose theoretically, you *could* make a wine-like application that made ARM-windows programs work on ARM linux. That wouldn't help in this case, though, because FFXI would not run on an ARM windows machine.

If you wanted to build a micro-pc that could run FFXI, some sort of an Intel NUC would be your best bet. That's gonna cost 10 times as much as an rpi3, however, and are going to be harder to integrate into your own project due to greater size and not being built for hobbyist projects.

You might be able to find a really tiny Intel Atom single board computer, but it might be a bit too weak to run both Win7 and FFXI.

-edit-

This could theoretically be able to run FFXI, but who knows what sort of performance you'd get. https://www.amazon.com/LattePanda-4G-64GB-Development-without/dp/B01ID4HYE4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1542100748&sr=8-3&keywords=lattepanda

It's x86, has 4 GB of RAM, and enough flash storage for both FFXI and Windows, but not much more. The CPU is pretty weak and the integrated graphics will be weak even by iGPU standards. It might be playable at 720p with short draw distance and low textures, as well as every sort of performance enhancing mod there is, such as dgvoodoo.

XI and controller on PC has always had a interesting relationship. I've had a ton of issues ever since I moved on from PS2 with a standard adapter. PS3 was a nightmare with motioninjoy and CE360. I got it working but I was plagued with issues. PS4 took me a while to get going but once I did I only had problems with my USB cable dying on me.

I have never gotten the PS4 wireless to work for a damn. I had delays and similar issues to your multiple commands going off at once which is odd since you had that happen wired.

To combat the disconnect issue I buy these thin USB cables that are light so they don't pull on the controller as much and unless I drop them they don't disconnect.

I wish there was a nice thin wire one that had a smaller plug. I don't like how much this one sticks out but it worked fairly well for me.
