Just want to second u/jaynkier's advice here, which is spot on! Two prenatal workouts that I really like (that are intermediate level and have weight/dumbbell options) are: Leah Sarago's fit and sleek (https://www.amazon.com/Prenatal-Physique-Complete-Pregnancy-Training/dp/B00JJSDPBA) and Suzanne Bowen's BarreAmped sleek and toned (https://www.amazon.com/BarreAmped-Sleek-Toned-Prenatal-Workout/dp/B00SCJ56HI/)—this one is a bit light on core work, so I supp. with exercises like planks and side planks. Hope this helps and good luck!!

I really like this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015AQL1Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ttzvyb2QKKP2X

Is got zero additives and is just whey isolate. The isolate part is just how the protein is taken from the milk, and actually helps break down the lactose. Which I like Cuz my stomach gets upset when I have too much!

The other reason I like this one is its unflavored (basically tastes like watered down milk, no fake vanilla flavor). This means I can add it to chocolate milk, strawberry milk, yogurt oatmeal or even a blended coffee drink. :)

Don't be too intimidated by the size. A serving you add to a drink is a rather large scoop. I was surprised how fast I went through it.

This is my favorite! So much so that we bought it again for kiddo 2. The inflatable tires make it such a smooth ride and the car seat snaps into the jogger and base in the car. It’s awesome!

Products like this might help for added support. You still need to wear a sports bra but you can get away with an inexpensive one and add support as needed.

Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe can’t be beat. My husband and I did it together a few years ago. You build muscle super fast. It was so much fun keeping a notebook together. Rippetoe breaks down every lift so thoroughly, there’s no gimmicky shortcuts, and he takes a sort of whole body approach that’s way better than “targeting” certain muscles. He’s lasted the test of time when so many other coaches and programs have had their trendy moment and fallen into obscurity.

We got this Schwinn jogger on prime day for $150. It has all the features of the more expensive joggers. There's no way I could justify $300+ for a stroller! However, I really wanted the fixed wheel style for safety, as well as the one-handed brake mechanism. So the Schwinn was perfect. I think there's also a double version.

I just bought this for post partum and I've actually been wearing it loosely at 28 weeks because it helps my hips and back so much. It seems worth the 20.00. I like that it's velcro so you can choose how tight it will be.

Real Food for Pregnancy actually recommends protein shakes with collagen. However, it needs to be grass fed. I got this kind and it’s great:

Definitely PT. I also found this book useful for the theory of doing more than just simple PT exercises!

After lots of googling I found this vegan DHA supplement without rosemary extract: Vegan Omega DHA Supplement, #1 Prenatal DHA - Safe and Effective Omega Essential Fatty Acids Algae Formula - Algal Omega-3, Omega-6, DHA, EPA, MD-CertifiedTM Plant-Based Oils (60 Vegetarian Softgels) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M053IO3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AzMDyb472ZDH1

It doesn't have EPA, but it might be an alternative if you want to be safe and avoid rosemary?

Seconding this -- My sister got me this book and I love it. It has a month to month guide and specific exercises. https://www.amazon.com/Pregnant-Athlete-Ever-Before-During-Pregnancy/dp/0738217263

Definitely lots of walking helps! I was told no crunches/sit ups for a few months after to allow for the incision to heal. I was able to go back to mostly normal (stuff like running and pushups/situps) by about 4 months postpartum. Make sure you drink lots of water especially if you’re on any pain medication, and hold a pillow to your incision if it still hurts to laugh/cough/sneeze.

I’m three weeks out from my second c section (scheduled this time) and I bought an abdominal binder to wear after. I found last time it really helped with swelling and made me feel less like my insides were going to fall out.

I have an out of the box suggestion since cycling seems to be something that interests you. You could get an under the desk cycling apparatus since it would be smaller and easier to transport than a full blown bike. And, theoretically, you could use it while watching tv.

Glamorise Women's Double Layer Custom Control Sport Bra , Black/Grey , 38G https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C1Z2MG2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fljWCbCYSKGNH

These are the ones I can still use them, I went from a G to a H/I this pregnancy. Very supportive for HIIT workouts.

I also got one, based off recommendations from this sub. 35 weeks and it helps so much!

GABRIALLA Elastic Maternity Belt,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WFY16C?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

u/tikievangelist · 2 pointsr/fitpregnancy

I have this one that I found on Amazon. It's pretty unsexy, but it's getting the job done so far and I have plenty of room still to grow and keep filling it out.

What kind of routine are you looking for? There are lots of pregnancy workouts on YouTube that you can look up- or DVD's off Amazon (I went with this one, based off reviews).

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do much, because this pregnancy has kicked me in the butt- so I'm mostly walking right now for my workouts.
