48. Alpha Industries Men's Slim Fit N-3B Parka (S, Replica Blue)
- AUTHENTIC DESIGN - N-3B parka is the first piece of outerwear that Alpha Industries created for the military back in 1959. The N-3B was created to protect Air Force ground and crew members from the extreme cold weather climates. First offered in midnight blue, the parka was later changed to a sage green and re-designed when it was adopted by all military services.
- INDIVIDUAL STYLE - Signature “Remove Before Flight” red hang tag on the sleeve utility pencil pocket and the Alpha Industries logo on the zig-zag zipper extension let you show off your style. Two exterior handwarmer pockets, two lower flap pockets, one interior patch pocket, and shirred sleeves round out the look.
- FORM & FUNCTION - N-3B cold weather parka helps keep you warm during those cold weather months with several features. Adjustable snorkel hood with a removable faux fur trim and faux mouton lining keeps your head and face warm when the wind picks up, with the storm flap on the front helping to protect your core. Water-resistant shell, quilted lining, and polyester fill add to the insulation against the cold.
- FIT & RECOMMENDED USE - N-3B slim fit parka has a classic snorkel parka style with moderate room in the body and sleeves and falls just at thigh length. Perfect as an outerwear piece in cold or extreme cold weather.
- MATERIALS & CARE INSTRUCTIONS - 100% Flight nylon shell, 100% nylon lining, and 100% polyester fill. Dry clean only, remove the faux fur before dry cleaning.

Both products, Perfect Hold and Spiky Edge, don't make your hair rock-hard so they won't leave any white solidified flake. You can even re-style your hair after awhile you first apply them- this may make you think that these waxes are not strong but they really are(especially the spiky edge). It's hard to describe their texture so see this video FYI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH6SUHBIy9c

Moving Rubber Spiky Edge is definitely on the strong side of holding. If strong hold is your priority, I'd say try Spiky Edge first. If you want natural style and yet strong hold for a day, I recommend style with wax/cream first and finish with spray.
Where you can buy:
Moving Rubber Spiky Edge: https://www.amazon.com/GATSBY-MOVING-RUBBER-SPIKY-2-8oz/dp/B000V2ACH8/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1538966536&sr=8-2&keywords=gatsby%2Bspiky%2Bedge&dpID=51j0gvw558L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch&th=1
Perfect Hold Wax Extra Hard: https://www.amazon.com/Gatsby-Perfect-Hold-Wax-Extra/dp/B001GQ2ED8/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1538966703&sr=8-1&keywords=Gatsby+Perfect+Hold+Wax+-+Extra+Hard&dpID=41sprgdTXgL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
I'm not a big fan of the font used for the numbers, it's not for me. It's also not sold by Amazon.com. If they had used a sans-serif font I'd have liked it a lot.
I just bought this watch used and while this one isn't sold by Amazon.com, this black one is. I love it so far. It's meant to resemble the Omega Speedmaster professional. It's just a Casio but for $50 I'm quite happy with it and it's well-liked on Reddit and watchuseek.
This fossil watch worked out to more than I wanted to spend but I like it a lot and with 20% off it'd be right in your price range. It has a cream-coloured face and is really nice in my opinion.
Both watches I have recommended are 41mm, which are not too big on my 6.5mm wrist, they're actually perfect. I imagine they'd still be ok on as small as a 6" wrist. They're 1mm bigger than the black Seiko you're looking at for reference.
To understand what shoe care needs: Shoe Care Guide
To clean leather products: Saddle Soap
To condition leather products: Venetian Shoe cream (VSC) or Saphir Renovateur or [Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion] (http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline/cati2_ShoeCareProductss_1_40000000001_-1________subcategory#facet=&sId=216&sort=5&ps=1000&bi=0)
To "protect" leather you have 2 options:
If you're walking around in snow / rain with dress shoes: Galoshes/ Overshoes
And being more specific helps. If you live in warmer climates, Mink oil and Obenauf's are most likely unnecessary, and products like VSC and Saphir would be great.
Avoid products from DSW and most B&M stores (unless well reviewed and recommended!) and the likes as they aren't great in quality (personal experience) - and if you're spending hundreds on shoes, consider spending a few dollars more to taking care of them goes far.
Ok I was really debating between Obenauf's or sno seal, but I think you convinced me about Obernauf. But which Obenauf's should I use the heavy duty lp http://www.amazon.com/Obenaufs-Heavy-Duty-4oz-Preserves/dp/B003SKCARK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382402091&sr=8-1&keywords=Obenauf%27s
The boot preservative
http://www.amazon.com/Obenaufs-LP-Boot-Preservative-Preserves/dp/B0002X520S/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1382402091&sr=8-2&keywords=Obenauf%27s
Or the silicone water shield
http://www.amazon.com/Obenaufs-Silicone-Water-Shield-Environmentally/dp/B002UBLSO4/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1382402091&sr=8-6&keywords=Obenauf%27s
Or maybe a combination of the heavy duty lp and the silicone water shield? I don't want to spend more money then necessary but before I take my boots out into the world I want to make sure they're properly prepared for the elements. Oh and thanks for the help guys! All of this is very informative and helpful.
Are you looking for something casual or formal? Obviously leather (or synthetic) bags will look more formal, though you can make some canvas bags work with formal attire (i.e. suits or just shirt & tie). It will be hard to find a good quality bag at that price point, but here are a few options:
This bag from Aldo is decent; I have a similar bag from Aldo that has lasted several years.
This bag available from Zappos is also a nice choice
This bag is available from Amazon, though I don't know about the quality, and I'm not a huge fan of the style
This bag also available from Amazon is one that isn't full leather but I think would look nice with both formal and casual attire.
Another similar one available at Amazon.
Hopefully others on here know some other brands that make nice bags and can chime in.
Pretty standard MFA answer, but Bass Buckinghams should serve you pretty well for the casual end of the business casual spectrum at a reasonable price.
For more traditional brown leather oxfords, some options that might work well for you are Florsheims, Bostonians, or thrifted/eBay Allen Edmonds as per this guide. Another source that's been easy for me lately has been checking clearance DSW shelves for brands like Mercanti Fiorentini, Johnston & Murphy, or Cole Haan on steep discounts.

Gonna throw out some picks, depending on your style, take and pick what you like, sorry to hear about the flood bruddah.
Picking suiting is pretty standard and easy around these parts so I'm just going to pick casual stuff
Wolverine 1000 mile boots in Rust (Factory Seconds) ≈ $170 Depending on coupon. Grab these quick if you like them, since they rarely re stock this much. Made in America and Chromexcel Leather
Luther's Raw Selvedge Tapered - $115. Made in America
Orion Leather Belt - You Choose ≈ $45 or slightly less with first purchase coupon. Made in America
Levi Classic Trucker in Rigid ≈ $60
White / Black V neck T's of Your Choosing ≈ Varies
Handful of OCBD and Chambray Button Ups- Uniqlo ≈ $25 Per Shirt
Grey Suede Bucks - Bass or Banana Republic for the $60- $100 range or Walk Over brand for $200+ but Goodyear Welt and Made in America
Journey's No Show Socks - So you can wear your bucks and any slip ons with socks but look sockless
Dockers Alpha Khakis - $35 - $40 per Pair
Throw in a couple of merino wool sweaters (or cotton if you're not big on sweaters such as myself) and a thrifted blazer or two and you're ready for pretty much anything.
If you bought all of this you would only have around $300 for suiting, which probably isn't enough, but hopefully I've given you some ideas of what you might like to rebuild. Everything on the list is pretty solid quality and should last, with the exception of the cheaper suede bucks which might fall apart, or might not, who knows
Truth.
My gf bought me these tan Chippewa boots for $89.99 shipped about 3 days ago. Theyre seconds but I'll be using them for work as they tend to look better with the shit beaten out of them.
Here are a few with that description, but you can also swap out the strap on the one above for something you like. I think the black works the best for formal IMO, but I'm not exactly an expert on this.
The first one is my favorite:

and there's a few more models in brown if you search around.
That's a pretty beautiful watch for $135, don't think you'll get much better than that for under $150-200.
EDIT: Might suggest checking out these as well over on Amazon:
Invicta, black face, steel band, auto watch, ~$80
or
Invicta, blue face, steel band, auto watch, ~$75

Size 9 Tretorn Rodlera's in Mallard Blue - $25 + shipping
Bought these on sale, wasn't sure about sizing so I bought two pairs. The 9.5's fit me like a glove and I'm a 9.5 on the Brannock. So these will fit a size 9 quite nicely, even a wide size 8.5 would be comfortable. Never taken out of the box. Asking what I paid. Here's the same pair on Amazon right now.
Size 10.5 Nike Priority Low-Top - $27
Another bad internet sizing decision, but this time I didn't have a safety pair. Taking a hit on these but that's life. Tried on once. Link to Grailed listing.
Levi's 511 29 x 32 - $18
A little tight on me, I thought they were stretchier than they were. These are sized correctly with Levi's standards. Black hardware and label. Tried on once, realized what I had getting myself into (barely) and backed away slowly. Link to Grailed listing.

Chippewa is your best bet.
This or This, would be a great all weather boot, rubber sole, rounded toe, and highly durable.
Spend the extra $40, it will be worth the investment in the long run. Had mine about 2 years with F/W wear only.
There is this Maliseet Oxford by Quoddy that's quite beautiful. It's not suede, but it's probably more versatile because of that. It is quite expensive however. You seem to really want a shoe like this and it would get a lot of use since you have many outfits to match... so why not save up and buy a shoe that will last?
Or just go with buckinghams. Also a good idea, though I don't know if they have a blue suede w/ red brick sole.
[SELL] Size 7.5 Golden Fox Moc Toe Boots
I really like how these look, but they are too similar to another pair I already own. I just received them in mail and they are new with tags in original packaging. I am willing to part with them for $55 plus shipping.

1901 oxfords or bass buckinghams? In terms of quality? The bass bucks are cheaper though. (not sure which color i'd get though). However, I have a $40 nordstroms gift card that i could use too.
I've been looking for some casual shoes that i could wear to work (college job...not that formal) but were a step up from sneakers. Hoping this fits the bill.
What colors are generally the most versatile?
I got lucky and got them off Amazon for $67 in late July without the 20%. The price fluctuates quite a bit depending on the day and seller. I'd say anything under $80 for new is a great deal. Keep checking the price and use http://camelcamelcamel.com/Clarks-Originals-Mens-Desert-Beeswax/product/B000WU8SBQ?context=browse
Here's an actual link to the watch, for those interested.
I like this one better, personally.
Check this link. Looks like they're on sale to me. Also could anyone help me out with sizing on these boots. I'm usually a standard US11 and take a converse size9. Does anyone here know how true to size these are?
Eastland Jackson 1955|NEW|Dark Khaki Suede|10D|$45|I purchased these from Barney's Warehouse in 2 sizes, and the expected size fit perfect, so these are new and have never even been removed from the packaging. Unfortunately, I didn't realize they couldn't be returned. I wear my Nike/Vans size in them and the suede is like a waxed suede, although I don't know if it's actually waxed.
Founders Brown Cap-Toe Boot|NEW|Dark Brown French Calfskin|9.5D|$110|Took a chance on these during the Founders SF sale. They didn't fit and I'm just now getting around to selling them. The MSRP was $324 and they're beautiful boots, but just a little too small for me and non-returnable. Note that these do not include the shoe trees or bags. They were tried on once and have never been worn outdoors.
I just want something to wear with a button down. But i think if I do go for I will get the bass ones from Amazon they seem like a good price and quality because I don't really want those hard leather ones. I like these http://www.amazon.com/Bass-BUCKINGHAM-Mens-Buckingham-Oxford/dp/B005PMNDWA
https://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Industries-Slim-Fit-Removable-Faux-Fur/dp/B004DQHW9O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483374807&sr=8-1&keywords=slim%2Bfit%2Bparka&th=1&psc=1
Anything like this under $50? I like the fit on this, it could be just a tad tiny bit slimmer though.
Not ebay, but....I bought this bag back in december and it is AMAZING for the price! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EF16AWW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The stitching is perfect and the leather is actually not too bad. My favorite part about the bag is that it has the look of the straps, but it is actually a buttoned satchel.
Bass Bucks. These are worth it and better than the CK ones. Taupe would be the most versatile out of all of them. I own them in white and really like them.
i have the casio edifice and i love it. the case is the same size as the mako, but it lays on the wrist very well and doesn't look too big. the mako looks very bulky on my wrist. the casio has solid links too if you're into bracelets. aside from the casio, i would stay under 41mm tho. my wrists are 6.5".
There is a Japanese brand called Gatsby. That is also very good. The pink and the grey are the most popular, followed by the green I think.
looks like a good deal, 88$ on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Invicta-9094OB-Collection-Stainless-Bracelet/dp/B00HLVH1GW
I ordered http://www.amazon.com/Navali-Helmsman-Canvas-Leather-Computer/dp/B005MS6YDC/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418942371&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=navali+helmsmen from amazon a while back. I used the bag maybe 3 times, and the zipper busted on me. The zipper functions like this now: http://www.laupre.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/MIbrokenzip.jpg. I submitted a customer service ticket via http://www.navali.com/contacts, and never got a response.
Order# 107-3553425-0888220, bought the bag around in May. Used it three times to hold my laptop, charger, 3DS, and kindle. The zipper blew out on me a little before Thanksgiving, which is when I submitted the contact ticket.
Bad experience with product. Bad experience with customer service.
The bag did look nice while it worked though.
EDIT:
Went to the site again and this time a Live Chat box popped up with a customer service rep to speak with. I relayed the above information to him and he said "Nick
Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that! We'll gladly repair or replace it for you at no charge!
could you just send an email to returns@navali.com with the info you just submitted to me? that way our returns team can dea with it first thing in the morning!"
Wondering why I wasn't responded to previously, but this is an improvement!
Asking $160
Asking $200. These are hard to find in my experience barely worn + custom laces and treatment see below.

Open to offers of course

I also have some beat up ultraboosts in triple white (size 10). If you want those I'd let them go fro $60. All they'd need are a wash and some cleaning. Have a custom pair with reflective laces + no cage or a standard pair with regular laces and the cage. Will sell either or both

Sizes are in photos.
Both of these are beautiful boots I just have extremely wide feet. You'd also be helping me out a ton because I'm selling all my shit before a RTW trip :)
Rub some Obenauf's Leather Protecter onto your Sperrys, best decision I've made when it comes to leather products.

I'm looking for a stylish winter jacket, do you think I should just go with this cheap H&M parka, or shell out the extra cash for this alpha industries parka. I'm also more willing to spend the money on the alpha industries parka since I have a $100 amazon gift card.

I have a Chinese made messenger bag Link from Gootium. I've only used a few times but its a nice carry on for air travel.
Bass Brocktons are recommended quite a bit as a cheap, good looking suede shoe. If you have the money, however, go with the Buckingham.
Timex Men's T2N105
Very small face (36mm diameter) with a nice genuine leather band
as the top post mentioned you can get 20% off, brings it to $29 something shipped if you have prime
The Bass Buckingham Perhaps?
Both Are Generally well reviewed on this sub as well.
Amazon Link $89.95 with free 1-2 day shipping if you have prime comes out to same price as nordstrom after taxes.
Shoes (100$ Budget) - Golden Fox boots would be a good choice if you want to spend $100 total on shoes and boots.
Chinos (60$ Budget) - You can get Elston 528s for around $30 a pair.
It looks like it. You can find the boots on amazon for the old prices, for example:

and

are the same, but amazon is 50% cheaper.
GREAT boots, but beware: The color is not exactly as pictured. See my patina album, and on Amazon.
Serious question: When was the last time you found them under $60 at Amazon?
I've been monitoring (almost daily) Amazon's price on beeswax US10 CDBs since the last week of February, and have not found them that low. Barring a coupon code one of the minor sellers had for a few days (took the price down to the mid-$70s), they haven't been lower than Amazon's current price of $81.xx. The suede versions are slightly cheaper, and although I've been checking them less frequently (1-2 times per week), I've not seen them at the $60 level either.
Here's what camelcamelcamel says about the pricing on US10 beeswax CDBs. They also say pretty much the same thing about the taupe suede version too.
I was looking at Clarks Bushacres on Amazon, and the beeswax leather does not look like it does on CDBs (Here are the Bushacres, and here are CDBs).
Is this a mistake from Amazon, or is the beeswax leather actually different on these two boots?
Alpha Industries Men's N-3B Slim-Fit Parka
Bought a M in the recent Amazon lightning sale, paid $70. Amazon is not letting me exchange for size S without paying regular price now. If anyone wants this jacket I'm willing to pass the deal along plus actual shipping to you and any Paypal fee.
Clarks Desert Boots are eligible.
Also all Allen Edmonds sold by Amazon.

I think they're normally around $91 for most sizes on Amazon
there's this and with some conditioning and wear the brown will likely darken but those aren't on sale, at least not this one
They're technically desert boots, just not Clarks "Desert Boots".
You're right, they have "Bushacre Desert Boots" vs "Desert Boots"
These are the "Desert Boots," part of Clarks Originals line.

This looks like the lowest price for Amazon...

Not sure how versatile black shoes are, I am assuming you are drawn by the color contrasting sole.

What's the big difference between this one and Clark's Originals Desert Boot? Something about a crepe sole? It's something which I don't really like because it gets all dirty. I personally don't really love the silhouette of it, prefering this or this (in tan leather).
