I've had really great experiences with Amazon Warehouse Used- Like New products, also I believe they have a 1-month no questions asked return/warranty program.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01GAI64GO/ref=sr_1_1_olp?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1498464130&sr=1-1&keywords=gtx+1080
I included this one even though it's not EVGA or Asus because it's new and very competitively priced when taking into account the recent rise in GPU prices. IMO taking a few hours to paint over the yellow plastic to save $100-200 is a worthy investment. Hope this helps

Before you go with the ModMic, consider this. My friends have modmics, I went with this for my headphones. SO MUCH BETTER. It sounds pretty good and eliminates the extra wire.
EVGA GTX 980 2GB - Owned for a year, no OC, mining, or high temps ever.
AKG K7XX - Red Edition used both plastic tabs broken, functions perfectly.
Rosewill Apollo RK-9100xRRE Red Backlit Mechanical Keyboard - Used for 2 months excellent condition.
CM Storm Quickfire TK - Browns - Excellent condition
Deathadder Chroma - Barely used, functions perfectly.
Your friend may want to revisit that 9900K pricing. They were selling here for $475 or less. Currently $475 brand new at Newegg with Promo. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117957&ignorebbr=1

Also $480 at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i9-9900K-Desktop-Processor-Unlocked/dp/B005404P9I/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=9900k&qid=1555759276&s=gateway&sr=8-1

$490 has pretty much been the retail sweet spot on these chips for a while now. Prepping for the refresh.
I've got a pair of these and really like them, I think they're a great value if you have a good mobo/sound card.
Well with it being brand new and only 2 months old with BOL for warranty - I was guided more off of Amazon and NewEgg.
I'm going to adjust the price on it just a bit, but you are right that RX 470 deal is great for a used card.

Thanks for info,
MeatSection
I hope you find a deal but I posted recently looking for the same thing and ended up settling for a Kingston 120GB for $20 on amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N6JQS8C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JI52Cb4WVG7DE
Good luck.
All are cleaned and in excellent condition; I take care of my shit :) Pics upon request
Edit: Everyone else is parting out PC builds and I'm selling a vape. lol
You can get a like new g230 on Amazon right now for $31.48 Prob your best bet if you're looking for a good cheap headset.
It's 8.3 inches. I guarantee you that this card will fit in your build. I have another Zotac card and they are comparatively super tiny to the previous GPUs I've had in the past. Here's the Amazon link if you want to look at it for yourself.
https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-192-bit-Graphics-Compact/dp/B07NMWQXLR
As a backup option, for $30 more you can grab the Dell 2719DHF on Amazon. Just FYI. Hope you can do better though, GLWB!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J4SXNQ5/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_609iDbC07DARW
Yeah I agree, no reason a Hyper 212 shouldn't do the job here.
If the fan is dying, then all you need is a new fan! Just look around for one that has high static pressure.
I replaced the stock fan on my Hyper 212 with one of these, mainly for aesthetics. It does the job slightly better.
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Premium-Magnetic-Levitation-2-Pack/dp/B01G5I6MRK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1541096182&sr=8-3&keywords=static+pressure+fans
$92 shipped, $80 for the 598c and $12 for the boompro.
To be honest, if you are interested in these they are on sale on Amazon for $63 for the damaged box ones. That is a pretty good value, I just can't sell mine that low :/
Amazon Warehouse Deals has a EVGA 1080 FTW used for $519 with two-day Prime shipping, FYI.

Here's my selection of offers:
NZXT Sentry Mix 2 Fan Controller
Xigmatek 140mm Blue LED Silent Case Fans
EVGA GTX 970 ACX Backplate. Check the links for Compatibility
Western Digital 1tb Caviar Blue HDD
Targus Laptop Case that fits 15 inch laptops.
I'm obviously not trading all of them for just the headset. It's just what I currently have that I can ship. The rest of the items I have for sale are bigger ticket items. I would trade the sentry fan controller along with the xigmatek fan as a combo trade.
Amazon says
$329.00$294.99 , so it looks like your price is pretty solid for the 2700xI got mine direct from Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-TK-Mechanical/dp/B00A378L10
~$92 with tax so you can still get it factory new there.
I think I'm gonna hold on to it since I would be selling at a loss, but feel free to PM me any offer.
Just wanted to see if OP wanted a straight trade seeing he wanted browns too.
I have this keyboard : https://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-TK-Mechanical/dp/B00A378L10?th=1
If you're interested, let me know! I think I still have the original box and such as well.
If you consider lowering the price on the SSD as well as selling it as a normal SSD, I would consider buying it. Having Windows on a SSD shouldn't really increase its value, in my opinion. Windows Keys are tied to the motherboard, not the drive it lives on. Windows as a software is technically free.
Just for reference, a brand new Kingston 128B SSD on Amazon goes for $22 dollars.

I can add more things in if you want. I really hope we can work out a deal:)
A new GTX 1070 runs for $435 on Amazon. That in mind, if my card is valued ~$200 used, I think it'd be reasonable to say a GTX 1070 is worth (just based off the sales I've seen ~$350-$370 here on this subreddit) my GTX 1060 + $150 (~$350 value).
As for the GTX 1080, I did a little more digging and found they run a bit steeper used. I see it here on Amazon for $580, and I didn't look hard but didn't see /r/hardwareswap sales with prices sold still listed. I'm guessing ~$450-570 is probably what they went for (don't know)? So, if that were the case then a GTX 1080 would be worth my GTX 1060 + $250 (~$450 value).
Does any of that seem incorrect + the prices I edited? Let me know! Thanks.
EDIT: EVGA 1080 link was what I was going for. Wrong manufacturer.

I'm building a htpc and this would be perfect for this build as the card i have is too large. So if I don't win I would happily trade the 1050ti I have set aside currently for it! The 1050ti have is a 4gb msi one.

here's a link to the one I have.

and when I get home tomorrow I will take pictures and timestamps. :)

I'd be down to have 2/3 of my trades on this sub be 1050tis.

Hey man I am trying to sell my old laptop. This is a rundown provided by amazon.
I am still using it as my primary machine and can play all the latest things like Overwatch at decent detail levels with good frame rates. I also upgraded the wifi chip in it, if you want those specs I can find the box somewhere. I am asking 600 for it but the price is negotiable.
Hey, I don't know how much more processing power you're looking for, but I have the Zenbook UX330 (this is the exact model I bought last July). The i5-7200U ought to be a bit faster than the Core M3...let me know if you're able to sell your laptop and are interested.
I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PYYDMQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've got the 256GB m.2 sata and an additional 500 GB standard HD.
I never realized how much that matte black shows smudges til I took those pictures. Its in good shape other than that though. The only scratches I can see are on the bottom front corner, you can see them in one of the side profile pics. I bought in on March 21, 2016 and haven't had any problems with it since. I just don't need this much power in a laptop.

The 9900K is $479.99 so this will be a pretty hard sell at $500.

Not really a "price" check but do you think I could get this laptop + some cash on top for this gaming PC in a trade?
If your headphones have a detachable cable, maybe you can get something like this. https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-BoomPro-Gaming-Headset-Headphone/dp/B00BJ17WKK?ie=UTF8&keywords=detachable%20microphone&qid=1462412961&ref_=sr_1_8&s=electronics&sr=1-8
Here is the one I'm talking about
Yeah, I'd suggest roughly $35-45 shipped depending on how quickly you want it to sell, that's roughly what they go for on here

It's certainly 1tb, 7200rpm, and warrantied. I think your price is a bit high for a one-year old drive, but GLWS
Logitech g230 go for $40 new on Amazon. They go for $26 used on Amazon. Ebay is in the $20 area.
Could try Amazon Warehouse, around 70 with Prime shipping.

Also available in MX Reds and MX Blues with the same colored backlit keys.
This + This = $46 before shipping
Together these would go for around $90 to $100 brand new after taxes.
SPH9500S from Newegg for $54.99
VMODA BoomPro Mic from Amazon for $29.99
So for me it would come out $32.46 for the mic and $58.98 for the headphones $91.44 after CA taxes.
I have a pair of like-new Senheisser 558s with some (brand new) Brainwavz Red Velor Memory Foam earpads, and a V-MODA BoomPro Mic.

The first has a 960m, second is a bit cheaper and a 950m (still about as fast as a 860m I beleive), the last is my preferred amount of portability.
Considering your price...... You can buy this, which has a nvidia 960m gpu for cheaper than what you are asking for....

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler - YD270XBGAFBOX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B428M7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jsmlDbXZ0G0GB
$199 for prime members for y'all who didnt get this one.
Brand new in box means that its unopened and sealed. Just warning you cause I seen a mod get anal about this earlier. Also you may wish to rethink pricing cause I doubt you'll get 50 straight for this if you can buy it new on Amazon for the same price.
This is how it breaks down from parts from ebay. Includes shipping. I'll even include links
Base Desktop - $50
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 -$30
EVGA 600W 80+ Bronze PSU -$50
16GB DDR2 - $20
WD Blue 1TB - $45
Sandisk 240GB SSD - $40
MSI Twin Froze GTX 770 - $83
Windows 10 Pro License -$7.50 since its so valuable to you. Also its 2018, be real. No one buys full keys or they buy them off eBay. Yes I know they are not legit but once again 2018 no one cares.
Total: $325.50
Even comes with a spare CPU, drive, and 8GB DDR2. Also, you could probably buy most of these parts for less. These were pulled from quick ebay searches. For example, the PSU could be closer to $20 in reality, the card would be closer to $70 and the drive would be around $25 for the HDD and $35 for ssd. That would be $257.50. Still could probably get lower than that. Get real with your prices.
