I'm planing a solo camping trip and I have my eye on this. I haven't tried it yet but I think it should fit and be more comfortable than a camp pad.

Get a piece of plastic (or a knife, with caution), stick it in a crevice, and just pry it off carefully. They pop off easily. These things are pretty useful.

Are you me? We just bought an '09 Fit last week as well.

A/C: Yes, it's got a tiny compressor unit. It's possible it needs serviced also.

Power: As someone else has said, there's not really anything that's going to help for daily driving.

Battery & Dash Cam: Seriously, are you me? I've been researching dash cams HARD since we got our car. The battery was a worry for me as well, because I want that parking mode. I initially thought about getting a separate power bank unit for the dash cam, but then parking mode wouldn't work, as it needs to be able to "talk" to the car's computer to know it's parked.

So, I've got two videos for you. First, I recommend the Viofo A129 Duo dash cam, for all the reasons the video says (not my video). Second, here is a video detailing how to hard-wire a dash cam, and in it they explain limiting the draw that the dash cam pulls. Specifically, here is where they talk about the draw from the battery. In summary, if you install it properly, you won't have to worry. I just ordered this kit, which includes everything you need.

I'd recommend getting an ODB such as (https://www.amazon.ca/Veepeak-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner-Android/dp/B011NSX27A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1539359592&sr=8-3&keywords=odb). Only $20, plug it in, pair with your phone, and get all kinda of diagnostic info.

Part of what they are charing you for is exactly this service. They have a fancier one that can get more info, but if you get your numbers and post them on something like r/caradvice you might be able to get a good answer.

For my 2015 EX I used these;

https://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-Headlight-Headlights-Conversion-8000lm/dp/B074GZ3S4P/ref=pd_sbs_263_t_1/137-5469318-8879802?

They are very bright, white not blue, and install easily. Better still, no moving parts, unlike most LED headlights which have a heatsink fan.

This is the best:

Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit

I have used it in two cars just as bad as your Fit and they both had perfectly shiny lenses for over a year.

The LED bulb has a heatsink on the back, making the physical dimensions of the bulb too big for the Honda Fit's housing. You are correct in saying it's the same bulb because it is the H4 equivalent. Other cars use that same style bulb but have larger housings, making it a better match. The Honda Fit is just not one of those cars, unfortunately. I use these bulbs for my Fit

Well, you have two options. You can buff the head lights clear. Either with sand paper or aluminum polish and a buffer. Then you'll have to reseal. What I used and it worked great. But only after you've buffed. Most of the kits are gonna be the same. Just make sure they have a sealant afterwards, or it'll be hazy in weeks.

Or, you can dab a little ATF (automatic transmission fluid) every few weeks and it'll be clear-ish. Just make sure you don't get any of that stuff on your paint.

I think this sort of damage is from those automatic car washes. Didn't have a problem, for years, until I started going to one for a bit.

I installed the a129 last week. Seems to be running ok but haven't tried parking mode as there is still complaints about it's recording algorithms. Waiting for a more reliable firmware update. I had an a119s that ran fine in high temps for 3 years. Due to the steep angle of the windshield or the fov of the camera I opted to install my camera to the right of the rear view mirror. It looks more centered than to the left of the mirror. I haven't gotten around to running the rear camera. Im going to have to run it through the door sill rather than the headliner as there's no where to tucknin that thick wire for the rear cam. Also my rear hatch glass has dark tint on it so I'm not sticking the cpl on that.

Idk if it was just my dark tint making it hard to see but I've replaced the rear back up lights with these. Reverse is MUCH brighter now.

Right now I'm looking for a door sill vinyl with "fit" written on it. My fit already has a rather noticeable scuff on the driver's door. So far the only where I've seen a good looking one is Alibaba but I'd rather not buy from there. Amazon has one but it's not the same and also doesn't have prime shipping. If I can't find anything I'm problably going to add a "carbon" universal sill decal.

I got one of these for my huge Honda Odyssey window, and "fits" perfectly. Its a little thicker too, so it kind of insulates some of the heat from the sun coming in too: http://www.amazon.com/Sunshade-Honda-Heatshield-Windshield-Custom-fit/dp/B00P80HP78/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1464294559&sr=1-4&keywords=Honda+Fit+custom+window+shade

I use a full size dog cage if I'm going anywhere decently far, along with ratchet straps to tie that down via the cargo hooks. My dogs are 65 and 50 lbs (Labrador and some vaguely Shepherd looking thing that isn't a Shepherd).

For short trips, I have a harness that clips directly into the seatbelt. I changed my rear seat buckles to be independent of the seat back, and flip the seat back up... buckle stays down on the ground, and I clip the dogs in their harness to that. With them standing on the floor they can't get up high enough to get into anything. Once in a very blue moon they'll manage to knock the metal bar of the rear seat over, and the seat will come down on them, but that's still pretty rare.

The seat buckle part is similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Vastar-Adjustable-Vehicle-Seatbelt-Harness/dp/B014W40TSW

You may need one of those plastic buckle covers that are usually used to keep kids from playing with their seatbelts, depends on their activity level.

My wife and I camp with these. They come in a bunch of sizes. They're easy to inflate and are pretty comfy.

Had the same problem this spring. Did some digging and there are tons of other Fit owners with the same problem that almost universally cited the blower motor and/or blower motor resistor. Dealership quoted me $450 for the repair ($250 parts, $200 labor). Ended up replacing both myself for about $65. The whole process took about 15 minutes.

It is not a remotely complicated repair, but both parts are located in an awkward place if you aren't a tiny person. They're both accessed by removing the tiny panel under the glove box or the box itself. Only ONE tool is required, which is a Philips head screwdriver, but I'd recommend using one with a very short handle to get at the resistor's screws (mine was about 2.5-3" long).

Was very glad to get my AC back in time for summer without dumping an unnecessary $390!

I got a generic Amazon basics GPS dashboard mount and an imagnet cradle. Easy to use and it doesn't obstruct view out the front.

I did up grade the horns about a year ago and I’m happy with the results and sound I got from these replacements (HELLA 012010911 Black 12V BX Trumpet Horn Kit (Honda) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EG18S8O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_IxfBCbJSFKQP4) they are super easy to install (they have the factory Honda plugs so no need to splice cables) but of course you will have to remove the front bumper to get to the 2nd horn

I use the one linked below and I love it. I mounted it to the little triangular window in front of the drivers window. As long as you don't have a problem with mounting on the left side instead of the center.
