This is a great idea! Other suggestions for items are small rolls of toilet paper, those pods that fold out to washcloths when they get wet, and packets of hand wipes. :)

I second this!

These also work well, but be sure to look around on Amazon and Ebay. I was able to find a deal and got a 12 pack for like $8 last year.

ENO will do the trick but they are SEVERELY overpriced compared to the exact same product made from the exact same machines in China for under half the price. This one comes with the good straps included in the price- do NOT use those crappy ropes, I cant really recommend them. The quick straps that just loop with multiple length options like these are the best - and this basically comes with everything you need on one purchase.

Yeah, it was. The end of rows looked like dinosaur skeletons. By the last day I actually had the only canopy that was still standing in whole row. If you're in the market for a canopy I can't recommend this one enough, it's heavy as hell and the bag doesn't have any wheels but it's an absolute tank, well worth the price. Especially after seeing all of those $100 or less canopies that crumple after a strong gust of wind.

First off, you are adorable.

I am very much a planner, so I plan, overplan, and plan some more. I've been eating healthfully, working out, keeping up my skincare routine. Making lists of what I need to bring in general, then making more lists of what I need to buy, and where to buy it, what I already have. Planning outfits for all weather conditions. A few days before the festival I'll check the weather and finalize the outfits, so I can just put them on without worrying about what I look like (not bringing a mirror).

If you couldn't tell already, I'm a little extra, so I'll be getting my nailzzzz did beforehand. I also get a spray tan (don't judge - it gives me confidence to wear less clothing and less makeup, without the risk of skin cancer). Beforehand I shave everything needed to shave, exfoliate, pluck eyebrows, do a facemask. On the morning of travel, I take my last shower and blowout my hair (as girly as I seem, there's a good chance I don't take a real shower at the festival, lol).

I'll also start taking 5htp a few days before. I ordered this, it got great reviews.

I usually do this before every vacation, but I clean my whole apartment. There's nothing better to come back to when you are dead tired and have been sleeping outside for a week. Seriously.

Not my first festival but my first hula!!! Can't wait to get weird with you beautiful people.

Definitely get some of those cheap solar powered garden lights. They make an excellent marker for the pathway back to your site and are really inexpensive.

Vendors are typically one of the last things to be listed.

I don't have any dietary restrictions but I always bring a few of these mountain house packets with me to festivals. This particular one is GF but I'd imagine a lot of their other packets are GF as well.

Two servings and you just need hot water so a very easy meal. Aside from this I bring protein bars and general snacks.

My gf and I weren’t sure on this either, so we ended up springing for one of these just to be safe!

I know there was one towards the back of the amphitheater, right against the sidewalk. Saw a bunch of people there charging phones.

I grabbed one of these from work. It was perfect! It's waterproof and solar rechargeable:

Kind of depends on if it's hot or not (Antibalas last year was real toasty), but if you bring one of these filled with water for your group and people around you that want it, it's always a hit.
