Just finished reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline (awesome read btw) and that video makes it feel like the beginning of the Oasis. Looks pretty cool.

So basically a portable French press?

You know that the Oomph just finished a successful campaign on Kickstarter, right? Basically identical looking to this.

And you have stuff like this on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-16-Ounce-Travel-Coffee-Press/dp/B000F3NQG2

Just wondering what's different here.

I can buy these for about $1 each. They’re reusable pouches that I can fill up with any liquid I’d want. I can even make a mix, throw it in there and pregame. With your idea once you open that thing up that’s it. You can’t screw a cap back on it and save the rest for later. What if I don’t want to drink the whole thing? Do I just put it in my water bottle? It looks like we’re just paying for all the logos and stuff that’s gonna get thrown away anyways. As an alcoholic, I would not buy.

Or you know, use something like this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WS1IH0Y/ and buy longer cords like normal people do. lol I mean this works just fine for me. I have it nailed to the the wall a few feet up and behind my nightstand. No issues and the promo code made is cost less than $20. (promo code is 9G59J3V9)

This depends on the type of aquarium maintained, reef systems can easily exceed double or triple the above mentioned cost, depending on gallon size. Salt can be found for cheaper online ( IE 50 gallon bag for ~$14, however it is nowhere as convenient as individually measured bags http://www.amazon.com/Instant-Ocean-Sea-Salt-50-Gallon/dp/B000255NKA)

Distilled water can be replaced with any from a Reverse Osmosis system (Some houses have this and it's basically free)

So there are definitely some cost-saving abilities here.

These things look neat but I have 4-5 USB devices I plug in at night. I always found the desktop USB chargers like this to be more useful for me.

I recommend Jamey Stegmaier's book: A Crowdfunder's Strategy Guide. His experience is with board games, but the book makes a good stab at product-type independence. His blog is also great. Lots of reading, but really sound advice about how to get started.

$36 for something that really doesn't have a problem to fix? Ehhh. Not for me.

I have one of these in my car and having to put the magnet in between the case and phone doesn't affect anything in any way.

So I already have a case, then I spent $7 on this. So you can see why your price tag doesn't appeal to me. Plus, I'm not a fan of super bulky cases, so that's another thing.

Kudos on going for it and doing a Kickstarter. And I hope you guys get funded.

How about a dickbutt riding a unicorn under a rainbow?

I am thinking of getting some boxes just to mess with people.

I see that it is recommended to upload logos and graphics with at least 300 dpi, however is there a maximum DPI limit?

Is it necessary to include a border for image bleed through on the box/if we want to get the full image to fit to the edges?

If there a recommended pixel WxH to insure that the image fills the top of the box, without bleeding over/image loss?

Do the printers use RBG or CYMK? (or something else if not these, this can severely effect eventual color)

Is there a preferred bit depth for the images?

Is printing done "in-house" or do you ship out for the actual printing? ( I know many companies do this)

Have been a bit burned by some printers in the past, where they hadn't specified what was needed/being used until getting to the proofing stage. Nothing worse then getting back a proof due to usability due to RBG rather then CYMK usage or wrong pixel density. :(

EDIT: Just to be clear, when it comes to getting something printed we are a bit serious in requirements and how we like things to look. This and this are our home printers.

Yep. I have a Brother HL-2270DW: prints duplex and wirelessly. Paid a little more than $100 for it. High-yield toner cartridges are about less than half that: http://www.amazon.com/Brother-TN450-Yield-Black-Toner/dp/B003YFHCKY/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1464750449&sr=1-1&keywords=tn-450

Drivers for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Easy to use/setup.

It looks like it's now 600 mAH, still pretty much useless. You can get 3200 mAH for $20USD in the shape of a slightly larger chapstick if you really need it. It's also troubling that they don't tell you if it charges at .5, 1, or 2.1 amps. The last concern is that even at 600mAH which is really small, it's unlikely that you'll get a full 600mAH charge unless the efficiency of the circuitry is pretty good. Meaning, you could get 300-400mAH actually into your battery, while the rest is lost in transit so to speak.

Humor me for a second. The emphasis seems to be on "affordable" yet these earbuds are higher priced than 4 different models currently available on amazon, all with 4 stars. There is also another set that is $10 more with 4.5 stars. How do you qualify your product as more affordable than these options? The campaign page doesn't seem to give much in the way of what sets these apart from other "affordable" wireless earbuds already available.
