well for that price range, you won't get any killer sounds to take advantage of the quad dac if you have it, but you can get some great quality headphones. I really like Audio-Technica, with that price range you should be able to get good sound using this:

https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M20x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR18/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1521884950&sr=8-3&keywords=audio+technica+headphones

Or these ones:

https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AUD-ATHCKS550ISBK-Headphones-Microphone/dp/B018U5YJH6/ref=sr_1_141?ie=UTF8&qid=1521885067&sr=8-141&keywords=audio+technica+headphones

Obviously the over the ear headphones will sound better, but the "portability" quality is gone

I have the plat g6...the case is so...minimal but man did it feel super cheap. It cracked on the seam on top. There goes 20 bucks...

Got this as a replacement and have been more than happy with that

Well generally speaking your best bet is to look at reviews for every charger and buy from reputable brands. Chargers that are Qualcomm Quick Charge certified will say so.

Same goes for cables, basically just look at reviews as it's impossible to tell what's inside the cable and the quality of the connector itself. I've had good luck with these, and the price was quite good too:

Ended up getting a replacement phone under AT&T's 14-day guarantee. As a bonus, the price dropped 4 days after my purchase, so I was able to take advantage of that too. As for the case, it's called a Speck Presidio Clear case. It says it is scratch resistant and so far that seems to hold true.

I'm waiting for the Dbrand Grip to come out. Looks like it offers ample impact protection and still shows off the phone's back.

As for tempered glass, OMOTON has treated me well. Their glass comes with all the required instructions and accessories. They have a bundle available with two tempered glass protectors and a clear case for a pretty good price on Amazon. I'll add a link when I have time to grab it.

I currently use this Ringke case and I'm happy with it, though I don't quite think I'd recommend. I feel there may be better options.

As for installing the SP with or without a case on is a judgement call, I'd say.

Back when I was using the Trianium clear case, I installed the SP with the case on following Supershieldz instructions but it installed crooked. The Trianium case was a soft TPU case that was kind of loose, so the SP didn't install nicely bc it pushed aside/slid under the lip of the case a little.

My current Ringke case hugs the phone more aggressively, so when I installed the replacement Yootech SP with the case on, it fit more nicely... Too bad the Yootech SP just don't feel nice or stay very smudge free. :/

All in all, I say do a dry run both ways before deciding to commit to one install method. :') Don't wanna keep wasting money on SPs hahaha.

If you're looking for a super minimal case, I recommend the Anccer gravel case
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077QBNLM7

It's hard plastic, but with a slightly rough texture. The texture increase grip and reduced fingerprint. Durability seems okay so far. There aren't any chips or cracks after one month.

This SanMin was also good looking and I love the built in metal plate for magnetic mounts. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XSRMF2N But I don't recommend it because it is extremely fragile. Other reviews mentioned that, but I thought they were exaggerating. My case broke after 3 days without any major drops.

Definitely this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y3NWMR6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_raifAbHJS07HG

I buy one of these for all of my phones but it isn't a good idea if you're around dirt all of the time. It's a super solid case that looks great.

u/jamesenloe · 1 pointr/lgg6

I'm not a huge fan of cases but since the phone is new I did pick one up. I just went with a simple, clear case for $9. I like it as it adds a bit of grippiness, it's not too thick and it shows off the silver finish.

Good topic, and I learned something today as I didn't know a magnet would stick to the G6 without the plate.
I've been using a MOCI car mount for a year and used it with my G4, G5, and now G6 and have not experienced any issues.
Below is a link to the current case I bought, permament MOCI mount, and a travel one. The reason I bought the travel air vent mount is that I wanted to get away from taking my Tom Tom GPS when I travel for work. This allows me to use the magnet so I can use my phone GPS, plus it's a nice kickstand for plane trips.

Use it as an aptx hd music transport to an earstudio es100 bluetooth receiver, they sound amazing together. The double tap unlock on the G6 works awesome to quickly switch tracks without picking the phone up off my work station.

I use an anker from Amazon. I got two 6' braided cords and a great adapter with anker's smart charging and fast charge 3.0

I had a very similar case

Was an awesome case but I ultimately ended up using a tpu slim case with dust caps for the headphone and charging ports.

My former case is what you see underneath the phone.

Anccer Colorful Series

u/waylo88 · 2 pointsr/lgg6

Depends on what you're looking for in a case.

I use the following and can't recommend it enough. Very slim and minimal. Those are the two things I look for in a case.

https://www.amazon.com/araree-Airfit-Flexible-Scratch-Resistant/dp/B06WD8QFVW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499188278&sr=8-1&keywords=g6+araree

Also, I'm US, so not sure if that's going to be more or less expensive for you.
