There are apps to mount an NTFS partition. It just isnt naively supported in android. My friend uses an app like that with his nexus 7 in dash with a 2tb HDD attached. Pretty cool setup.

Where are you getting the 7 pound weight for the popsicle bridge? I didn't see a weight anywhere and that seems pretty high for 100 popsicle sticks. Is it the glue adding all the weight? Shouldn't 100 popsicle sticks weight more like a third of a pound[1] getting you back to your ~3,000x factor.

(I hope that link works, I bought mine through amazon.ca) it's tiny, easily packed and charges from a USB port. I've never used it as a bluetooth speaker but several of the "coded in" noises are perfect and despite the size it fills the hotel room with sound. Most rooms these days have a USB near the bed but the internal battery kept it going untethered for over 8hrs.

But... that's exactly what it is. I have this and it works great. It "hears" the em "noise" your remote makes when you push a button and then amplifies it. The receiver then interprets it and converts it to an IR signal and transmits it through a wire out of a little IR emitter that adheres to the receiver on the device.

You should really look into getting a bidet attachment for your toilet. They're relatively cheap, ~$30 (link), for how much toilet paper you'll save.

I bought this cable for just that reason.

I plug my WD 1TB hard drive in, connect it to my battery backup using a micro USB cable, and then use it to transfer movies to my Nexus 7.

Alternatively, you can load up a micro USB drive, but it takes an extra step since you have to use a computer.

That's what you get when the factory sells on excess production without rights to use the name...

In this case they aren't actually lucky charms marshmallows, but from something else I think, but they are still repacked factory excess by the looks of it.
