I really like the boots I got from Red Wing Shoes in Brookfield. Mine are the Vasque brand, they started out pretty stiff, so make sure you break them in before your trip. One of the eyelets on the upper came out after a while and they fixed it for free.

If you don't find anything you like there, REI is just a couple miles north. I think they've got a sale starting on the 11th.

EDIT: I've also worn the tread off of several pairs of these Timberlands: https://www.amazon.com/Timberland-15130-Chocurua-Trail-Brown/dp/B000VX1BWW/ref=sr_1_7?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1478407671&sr=1-7&nodeID=679255011&keywords=timberland%2Bboots%2Bfor%2Bmen&th=1

Here are the instructions for your vehicle https://assets.curtmfg.com/masterlibrary/12100/installsheet/CM_12100_INS.PDF. My girlfriend has an Impreza and we had to use a drill to enlarge the holes a little bit, which was kind of a pain in the ass, but would be easier if you had a proper grinder. There's a coupon on amazon right now, so you can get the hitch for $95+tax. Curt rates it as easy, so it shouldn't take too long. If you're on the east side I'd be glad to help.

Edit- I linked the wrong product. updated the links. the old one was for a crosstrek.

I recently sent this book of cryptograms to my brother-in-law who is deployed in Middle East. Not from Milwaukee newspaper, but might be another option if you just want the puzzles.

A permanent faucet filter such as: (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J2DGTD8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) is overkill but was surprisingly easy to install and you can't put a price on piece of mind.

I've got an extra one of these in the box collecting dust if you'd like to buy it off me. I have one in my car and it's been great.

Pain, like everything in life, is impermanent. The notion that it is permanent is what is daunting. Once you accept that this situation, like every other in your life, is temporary and will come to pass, it will be a lot easier to deal with.

I don't have any delusions about reading a book curing you, but it might make it easier. Read this:

I've been looking for a place to find fresh passion fruit around the MKE area since I discovered their wonder in Australia a few years back. Not a very easy thing to find. The best bet I have found is buying it on Amazon. You can find passion fruit puree on Amazon as well. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, but always have considered it!

No, you can definitely buy your own. I meant I felt bad for people who aren't smart/savvy/knowledgeable enough to buy their own! There is a guide online that tells you which modems you can get that will be compatable with TWC. All you have to do is buy one online or offline, or on Craigslist if you feel comfortable, call TWC, and they will register it with the serial info on the box, and then they'll give you instructions on how to set it up/plug it in.

I have the SUPER lite internet for 14.99 a month (15 something with taxes), and I bought this ALL IN ONE modem/router so I can have wireless and the modem all in one device. It saves me an outlet.

Harrington Beach State Park is worth a visit. Civilized shower/bathroom facilities, a cool quarry lake, and well-kept beaches on Lake Michigan.

Also very close to the Ozaukee Interurban Trail if you like biking, or you can bike there from Milwaukee - about 50 miles one way. Take the Oak Leaf up to Brown Deer Park, then hop on the Interurban from there. Continue up to Belgium, WI, turn right at County Rd D, arrive at Harrington Beach.

If you do so, I'd recommend this trailer which should hold enough gear for two people for a weekend.

If you're going for a 1940s look, I'd recommend a leather or canvas band, which are harder to find in Wal-Mart, Target, etc. If you go to a jewelry store, you'll pay ridiculous prices. If you're open to buying online, here are a few quick recommendations from Amazon:

Citizen Men's BM8240-03E

Orient Bambino

Bulova 96A102

Citizen Men's BM8180-03E

I'm not sure how important that it looks like it's from the 1940s. IMO, any of these watches should look fine from the audience. You might want to ask /r/watches for recommendations!

I have Cream City Chronicles but haven't read it yet. It looks good though!

This is the one I bought. It was the cheapest Wifi modem that I found and it works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EO5A3RQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

"A resistant dolomite layer crops out at the bottom of a stone stairway leading down from a refreshment building near Picnic Area 5 and forms a low waterfall in the river. One layer in the rock here proved ideal for making water lime, a cement that would harden even underwater. Unlike the Silurian dolomites, just enough shale is associated with the layer of Devonian limestone to make high-quality cement. For thirty years, beginning in the 1870s, an important cement industry occupied this site, but the Milwaukee Cement Company quarries, crushers, and huge kilns were long ago replaced by a green park."

This.

Zip it is nice, but for funky drain runs, just buy your own snake.

And definitely some sort of drain filter to keep your hair from going down.

I live near Butler and can pull in all the major of the stations available (NBC, FOX, ABC, PBS, CBS, CW, UPN as well as a bunch of other channels with a small amplified antenna. I am in the upper unit of my apartment building which does help.

I use this antenna http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N21DU4M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
