Here's what I used when I assembled mine:

  1. Socket set, metric, 8mm to 18mm with extension
  2. Phillips-head and flathead screwdrivers
  3. Drill with a 5mm or 1/4" drill bit
  4. Needlenose pliers (slip-joint could work too; I used both, they're cheap at Dollar General)
  5. Chain breaker for breaking the 415H chain (I used this one and needed a new master link too)
  6. Large cable ties
  7. Utility knife or snips

If you need any recommendations for motorized bike accessories, let me know!

EDIT: I just came back in from working on my bike, and I think something else you might find helpful is metric combination wrenches. I recommend this mechanic's tool kit, though I have some cheap Chinese TrueValue tools that work really well too.

Sure thing, this is the kit I bought. It gives you options for leaner or richer depending on your specific engine. They are the same sized (screw type) as the original carb

Amazon has this #41 chain... It's slightly wider than the 415 but also stronger; should fit.

Think this guy will work? I hope so because that’s what I ordered...

You may want to look into caliper brakes as well. When I was building mine, the frame and hubs I had didn't have disc brake mounts, meaning I'd either have to weld them on or find really niche adapters (you may be in the same boat?). Most beach cruisers have caliper brake mounting holes though, it's usually just a hole sometimes filled with a bolt in the frame directly above the tire. This is assuming you don't have v-brake mounts which would be even easier.

If you look into caliper brakes, keep in mind that the front and rear brakes aren't the same, since their mounting bolts have to be different lengths.

I use this from before my bike had a motor and it seems to work pretty well

I bought mine from amazon, it was Prime. The exhaust was ported also. I'll show you a picture later, but you can kinda see it from the product images.

I personally dont believe any of them will be "balanced" or free of vibration.

Kool Stop Salmon pads are debatably the best budget caliper brake pads. (available on amazon, as well as most bike shops)

try removing the pads from the brake to compare, as they come in various shapes and form factors, though typically either an 'insert' that is hammered in with an awl, or a pad with a screw on it that can just be threaded on.

it may also be worth watching the park tool brake video for handy tricks on how to set toe-in (avoid squeaky annoying and save wear on the pads) as well as any adjustment settings you might desire.

the form of brake on your bike, the direct pull caliper is adequate for long pull bike levers, and offer a large amount of braking force for a small amount of movement at the caliper, but the biggest pain I've experienced with them is when one side doesn't pull as much as the other, requiring you to remove it so you can place the spring on the next peg and hope its enough adjustment

I wanted to get this but it was out of stock everywhere so I’m gonna try my luck with this one

Amazon has banana pipes for around 30$ and I noticed a really big difference after I install it. Sounds more like a 2 stroke should and a lot more power. I think this is the one I bought. https://www.amazon.com/CDHPOWER-Chromed-Banana-muffler-design/dp/B06Y65HD7F/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?keywords=80cc+exhaust&qid=1573140941&sprefix=80cc+exha&sr=8-11

What exactly do you mean? I'm aware that it's possible to assemble a kit from separate parts, and I've considered it. However, I'm speaking of these:

The 4 stroke bike kits that you DO buy assembled.

Thanks for the comment!

If you're worried about sucking it into your front tire, a nice compromise would be a downtube fender. They kind of blend in, and they keep a lot of the spray directly off your engine and you.

Edit:

Just like this one.

No idea. It's a 2 stroke oil only, meets or exceeds the standards for it. Heard nothing but good things from motored bike community and lawn people.

If the front wheel you have has no disc mount holes you could just use the rim brake surface. This rim brake would mount on the hole of the fork.
