Use one with bunny ears/VHF Elements! Unless you are really close to WSMV/WNPT towers, those flat one's have a hard time receiving their signals because they are VHF channels(WSMV-High VHF, WNPT-High VHF). Those flat antennas are made for UHF only signals and won't get the VHF signals well, so you need one with both.

EDIT: WZTV appears to have changed from VHF-Low to UHF, recently.

I gave you the signal chart for where I'm at in Nashville, but YMMV depending where you are in relation to the towers for the respective stations here in Nashville.

What neighborhood/part of town are you in?

I had a solicitor come by my place not too long ago trying to sell AT&T. I'm fairly certain she was legit as she didn't make any suspicious comments. I don't recall her wearing anything AT&T branded, however.

If you don't have any sort of security system, I can't recommend these Yi Home Cameras ($30 on Amazon) enough. Easy to set-up and controllable with a free app. They'll even alert you when they pick-up movement. Consider picking one (or more) up. You'll also need a microSD card to store video.

Hey Hermitage, Old Hickory here.

They are inflatable. $70 with paddle. My friends liked them (I have the red kayak). I haven't ridden in them personally, but so far I've only heard good reviews.

I've seen them for sale at Academy in Madison, or on Amazon.

I'm all about confirming an issue before trying to resolve it - so you might use a testing kit to check the hardness of your water. Might be overkill - or might be enough to make you feel good about installing a water softener. I saw someone else mentioned the water heater might be full of sediment. I believe you're supposed to drain the water heater every year to help, but those things will build up over time no matter what. A test kit might also let you check your normal cold water - as well as your hard water to see if build-up really is a problem. Good Luck!

I live 11 miles outside of Nashville, and had problems picking up anything besides NBC and PBS with a set-top antenna. Upgraded to a setup like you are looking at; outdoor antenna that fit in my attic ( http://amzn.com/B0024R4B5C ) and added a preamp ( http://amzn.com/B003P92D9Y )

I pointed it towards the ABC/CBS/FOX towers and crossed my fingers. Fortunately, I was picking up all the major networks, PBS, and a bunch of independent stations. somewhere around 45 stations/substations total. Works great, couldn't be happier.

The problem you may is that the broadcast towers are on the far side of Nashville from you. You may have to go with a large outdoor pole-mounted antenna to pick up anything.

Not sure if my setup is good enough to work in Murfreesboro. You could order it from amazon, hook it up without mounting anything to test it, and if it doesn't work, return to amazon.

You might be interested in this book, the Nashville Public Library has a copy or two you can loan out:

Quite detailed, I like the breakdown for different types of trails (horse/bike/walk/run/etc) and uses (family, adventure, nature sights, history, etc)

Not what you're asking for, but maybe what you want. Feels wonderful on my old back sometimes.

Another alternative is to go to the shiatsu massage chairs in Opry Mills and pop in $20.

Well, the failed cat code means your oxygen sensors are probably working fine now. Here's what I would try. Get a ~$20 OBD2 code scanner from Amazon, and an ~$8 can of SeaFoam (from Wal-Mart, Kroger, or an auto parts store). Get your gas tank to about 3/4 full. Pour in the sea foam and use the scanner to clear the codes. Drive for awhile and use the scanner to check whether your sensors read as ready. I think you can have up to 2 sensors not ready with a vehicle model year prior to 2001. Once they're ready, if your check engine light is off, you'll be able to take it through inspection and pass.

Is this what you bought? I'm curious how they survived the shipment from California.

u/VelvetElvis · 5 pointsr/nashville

They are up to a whole lot more than that and they have been at for decades. This is meticulously researched and well respected. It's not a conspiracy theory.

Dash cams are pretty nifty for these kind of things. Here's the one I use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MIO2KRC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_J04OybWGDKRCX

Yeah. Shoot me your email and I’ll send some photos out of the cookbook I have. My parents suffer from there’s-no-written-recipe-itis, but I found an excellent Cantonese style cookbook. Every recipe I’ve tried is solid and some have been vetted by my folks (with a few personal tweaks).

Zhumell Z8, basically the same as an XT8. I've only got three eyepieces - a 30mm and 9mm that came with it and a Celestron Ultima LX 17mm that I bought about a year ago. Those three have me covered pretty well, at least for the time being.

You can bring in chairs like this. Make sure to call ahead and verify though. According to their policy the band can say they'd like people to not have chairs and then you have to leave it sitting outside the gate or take it back to your car. They also have a limited amount to rent for I think $5.

we just got a guest bed mattress from Amazon. Queen size, memory foam - $250 including tax. It's not quite as good as our super-fancy mattress (that we overpaid for), but it's way better than an air bed!

We have prime, so it came in about 2 days.

Awesome tip: once you find one get some of these for quick release

I read the link (not the book). Out of the reviews, I respect this one the most:

2 stars. And it’s not just the boomers. It is cyclical.

You can find some off brand packets that you can use to make your own. It is acceptable. I want to say Kroger or Publix on Nipper's Corner had cans of Skyline.

You can order it from Sam's Club as well.

Very expensively order it from Amazon.

Unfortunately anywhere you're going to find it isn't going to be very cheap.
