Started looking around the web for other Citiz&Milk units and came up with these oldies, known as the "large base" model. This is from Krups, probably, and is about five years old. The cool thing about these, aside from the large, stable footprint, single side-mounted mains switch, and the huge drip tray is the hidden compartment for the whisks for the Aeroccino.

And this is the same unit probably manufactured by Delonghi (you can see the difference in the spouts):

BTW: Interested in which mfr makes your machine (imported to the States? Bloomingdales.com and search for Nespresso. They show Breville and Delonghi in the names of each unit. Generally, Delonghi units have a Zoji or elephant trunk spout and Brevilles have the flattened disk spout. Except for Lattissima units from Delonghi which all have the disk-shaped spout. go figure.

The best I have found is DIY capsules. You basically re-use old pods and put new foil caps on (to take use of the bar code). This allows you to put your own ground coffee in the pod.

One things I did, is use a pod from my favorite flavor of the VertuoLine (Since the barcodes are unique for each pod).

You can either do the entire DIY kit or you can just buy the foil caps by themselves.

If you buy this one, it's $125 for prime members. and if you sign up for a prime visa you get $100. THAT"S A $25 MACHINE! AMAZING DEAL!

sorry for all caps but it's really that good.

DeVinezi espresso cups. Got them from Amazon on a deal, can't remember the number, but certainly less than 20$.

Nuke the comments from orbit. Lol.

I actually ordered the intense set last night since I had some Amazon credit bouncing around. They were in limited quantities last night with less than ten left for both varieties. Luckily they shipped before OP kindly posted them to this sub. I'll let you guys know what I think.

Edit: since the cat is out of the bag, here's the Starbucks Mild Variety Pack as well. It doesn't appear to be showing up in my search any longer, but quantity available is better than it was last night. Weird.

I have the 8 oz Kleen Kanteen and love it, keeps lungos very warm, espressos may cool by the time you get to work, but might be fine if you put the top on right after making it:

It is vertuoline, should be something like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Nespresso-VertuoPlus-Espresso-Aeroccino-Breville/dp/B01MSACZGH/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=nespresso+vertuo&qid=1571669869&sprefix=nespresso+ver&sr=8-4

Using large capsules made only by Nestle and working through centrifuge rotating capsule. Best for larger drinks and water is dispersed based on capsule barcode.

I've ordered on three separate occasions these Bestpresso pods on Amazon, initially for their price but stayed with these for the smooth, rich shots!

When I was in Europe, many of my airbnb had L'or Coffee capsules. We really liked them. I found them here in the US on amazon. Here is a link. They are the only 3rd party capsules that I'll use in my machines.

L'or at Amazon.

Honestly, it's more effort than I want to put into a single-serve coffee machine. If I felt like saving some cash on a second cup, I would just use our Keurig (we have it set up in a guest room for when we have guests and they don't feel like being social/putting pants on just to get a cup of joe).

If you don't have a Keurig/don't want more pods around, have you tried buying a simple pour-over setup? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AROX8A2?psc=1

Yes. Just find reusable OriginalLine compatible pods.

I had posted this in another thread, but Amazon has the Vertuo Evoluo bundle on sale for $96 to give you some options.
