I would recommend getting a scale they are around $13 it is not a must though. I realized after this summer that I was really underestimating my intake in terms of calories especially on things like cooked meats and grains, so I switch to a pretty vegetable heavy diet. I can eat a few pounds of carrots and broccoli and other vegetables and feel stuffed for less than 1,000 calories.

I am having the same issues. Well, to be honest, I've always had the leg-cramping issue, but in the past (before OMAD/IF) I would just chug Gatorade to get them to stop. Now, I can't do that, so I need recommendations as well.

Currently I'm taking these two things to try and help, but I was up all night last night with leg cramps, so they are not working as much as I would like:

Leg Cramp Tablets

Magnesium Potassium Aspartate

I think pink sea salt is just hype with too few minerals to make much of a difference. I recommend a quality multivitamin and 50/50 sodium and potassium salt in order to make sure you're getting enough potassium which is an important electrolyte. A splash (teaspoon) of magnesium in your water will give you a good amount of this important electrolyte as well and at a much lower cost than pink salt. Magnesium can be a laxative if taken in higher doses and that effect occurs with both the liquid and pill.

I HATE taking large pills, that's why I use liquid or gummies, but feel free to take pills if you'd like.

Combine these and you will be getting everything you need, and at a lower price than pink salt.

I bought a set like this from Costco. the set I got had two pans in it one smaller and one large for like $32. That 8”-10” one seems nice if you’re just doing eggs and pancakes don’t really need anything much bigger than that.

I recommend the book Potatoes not Prozac for people who need to snack at night might have sugar sensitivity or carb addiction. One of the points in the book is that eating a little simple carb just before bed on an empty stomach is good for brain chemistry, resulting better sleep and mood.

You make a drink using Ceylon cinnamon (make sure not to use the usual kitchen Cassia cinnamon that contains a serious toxin at just a teaspoon). This potion is so powerful that you'll forget about eating. Start off w/ just a tablespoon of quality c10/c8 MCT Oil and then chase that w/ your mixed drink. Mix the dry ingredients first, and you'll then stir that mix into the liquids. You use the dry first:

- 1 or 2 tablespoons of Hemp protein powder, mixed w/

- 2 packets of Stevia sweetener

- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Organic Ceylon cinnamon powder (DO NOT USE THE DANGEROUS REGULAR KITCHEN VARIETY)

- (optional) 1 teaspoon of Inulin fiber/sweetener

... Now prepare the liquid portions in a drinking glass:

- a Squirt of Lemon Juice, usually just enough to cover the bottom of the glass

- about 200ml of room temp water, as cold water is harder to mix

Stir the dry mix into the liquids as best you can, and try to drink it while it's still spinning.

It takes about 15-20 min. for it to take effect, but expect a shot of energy and hunger to vanish for a few hours in the least.

I get this if I don't get some electrolytes in me in the morning hours. I do take supplements with my OMAD dinner every day, but I get to a point where I start to feel like I'm running on empty around 2P in the afternoon (I eat about 5:30-6).

If I take more of the potassium, etc., supplements I take with food in the evening, it'll make me sick to my stomach. But I have had luck with these - https://www.amazon.com/High-Zero-Calorie-Electrolyte-Drink/dp/B008KM5MJY. Other people supplement throughout the day.

Also make absolutely sure you're drinking enough water. I drink 3L of water per day and definitely lag if I don't - dehydration will usually hit in the afternoon.
