Like someone else said in this thread, the absolute cheapest phones will give you a hard time and will earn you less money. If you have $100, invest wisely and purchase a phone with good solid performance:
Another decent phone on Amazon is the Samsung Galaxy Rush ($47.99). It's a bit better than the cheapest phones and a bit worse than the first 2 phones I mentioned.
Now, if you want the cheapest phones on Amazon that can run Perk TV, the Kyocera Hydro ($33.79) and the Samsung Galaxy Centura ($40.36) are options.
OP, I really recommend the ZTE Concord II by Metro PCS. This phone has the most value for the money (yes, you'll have to buy it with a credit/debit card) at only $29! This works just like the Moto G or the Radiant; it's fantastic for Perk TV and you will be impressed with your earnings.
Hope this helps
If you want a Moto G the best price for now is $59.99 and that's only on Amazon as far as I know. It's more on Ebay. And Amazon advertises the price wrong. It advertises it as $76 but when you click new the first option has it for $59.99 and it's sold by Amazon. And even a representative told me it was $76 from that same link.
Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00HPP3VW2/ref=sr_1_1_olp?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1413318392&sr=1-1&keywords=moto+g+boost&condition=new
The LG Motion is rootable. Here is a link: http://androidforums.com/motion-4g-all-things-root/611262-i-found-root-guys.html but I honestly think there's a simpler way to root it, just couldn't verify it myself since I don't own the phone but I mean I don't think it can be too complicated or anything, at least not for me
One more thing I'll add. The Moto G is just 3G only for Boost and Verizon prepaid. But there is a 4G LTE version. And also check your local Radio Shack, Target, etc. Whatever you have. I got the LG Volt $86 with taxes and it's like the Moto G. Kitkat and everything but a slightly bigger screen at 4.8 inches, a slightly better front camera at 1.3 megapixels, and a better way better rear camera at 8 megapixels and it too with flash. And it has 4G LTE too for. But honestly Sprint coverage is terrible regardless lmfao. They can have the same or around the same or even less price as online stores.
One last thing I forgot to mention. The Verizon Moto G can't be rooted. No unlocked bootloader and towelroot doesn't work for it
We wanted to make a sturdy box, but actually stumbled across our PS4 box in a closet. For cardboard it's very sturdy. We took the top lid, and have it propped up, with supports holding it about 3 inches from the bottom of the box. We put the USB cables and USB hub chargers under the top part of the cardboard, then thread the cables around the outside of the top. We put velcro on the phones and the box to hold them in place. We put a two outlet small extension cord in the box to plug the USB chargers into, and have a single cord running out to charge all 12 phones. We reinforced the sides with duct tape, and velcro-ed one side of the top down to the box so it opens up like a lid. I saw some pictures of boxes with hidden bottoms, and also some charging stations like the Anker one that fits with 5 port hub, and it gave me the idea to make a large one that would hold all our phones without messing cables everywhere. It works quite nicely.
Here is the Anker one:

And I'm saving up to buy this one to place on my TV stand for Perk Live, since it puts the microphone at such a nice angle.

I used WiFi analyzer and discovered my neighbors were almost all on my same channel. It will help to look for one without many other routers.
Also, Amazon has the Linksys WRT AC1200 Dual-Band and Wi-Fi Wireless Router with Gigabit and USB 3.0 Ports and eSATA (WRT1200AC) on sale for $69.99 currently. The third questions down is about # of devices & someone with Linksys said "32 devices at the same time for optimum use, but it can handle more than that"
It looks like overkill, but I had the Amazon gift cards stored up & this price seemed pretty good. I ordered one and I'm guessing things will just run slower for each device as you go over 32 since it is sharing the bandwidth with so many devices.

haha, that certainly is a frugal setup for disposable/cartridges. when i was younger always thought those Bic's wouldnt cut shit compared to a mach 3, but supposedly they're pretty decent.
ya man, after you get your handle & brush, its all about the blades. nice, that's the way to do it, i picked up this. mine did too, and even tho i heard they were decent, personally was kinda disappointed with the derby's, at least compared to the good stuff. my sampler is just about done (10 months later), so prolly gonna pick up those personnas on amazon for $12. tried the astra's & feather's, and those two were the best blades from that sampler pack
ignore all the router advice in this thread so far.
buy this
if you dont have enough money for that, then buy this instead
i have personally thrown 100+ clients at the edgerouter X.
when you decide on which one you want to buy, switch your current router to AP mode, hook it up to the edgerouter, enjoy a much more stable connection.
you can thank me later.
oh yeah, the X has PoE, whereas the lite does not. PoE is really, REALLY nice for home security systems and other nifty 'internet of things' devices.
Thanks for the heads up OP. There is also this product from pluggable. I got a couple at $19.99 the other day. Havent set these up yet but I have a few other devices from them that I'm very happy with. Their whole range of products seem to be of very good value and quality.

Currently running a farm with Comcast internet, with these speeds. The farm is run on this router. If you want points/price the fuels are quite good. A bonus is that they are quite a lot easier to get than the Concords. I only have one, but it is for sure my best earner out of my devices (iTouch 5, iPhone 4s, NookHD, and my fuel). Will be using my next few cash outs on perk to get more Fuels!
I get Amazon gift cards and swap them for PayPal cash. I'm going to put 80% of my Perk and Swag Bucks earnings away to help a little with student loans, and I'm going to spend the other 20% of my earnings on whatever I want!
My wish list includes wine, video games, new acrylic paint supplies, a nice Yankee Candle for the fall, and this Marceline mug.
So why won't this work?
Select an option like Amazon.com Gift Cards - In a Gift Box
or Amazon.com Gift Cards - In a Greeting Card
And then when I go through all the way to the final screen: "Review your order", there's a spot that says "Gift cards & promotional codes" where I can enter a code, even though I already selected a credit card/bank card on the previous screen..
So what happens if I enter a code I got from Perk there, it won't work? Or if I didn't have the proper Perk code amount I wanted, couldn't I just email an electronic gift card to myself from my accumulated Amazon gift card balance from Perk, then enter that code into the "Gift cards & promotional codes" section?
I would think that would work, but everyone else is saying no.
If you need more than a 5 port, this 13 port is a very good one too. I got two of these and they have worked perfectly! It is only $20 also which is a good deal.

If you have detachable backs on your phones (or you could buy cheap cases), I drilled two holes in the back of the phone case, put two screws through with very flat heads, and mounted them to pegboard on a wall. If you're not planning on reselling the phones, this is a good option.
Put the pegboard at a comfortable level on the wall and tap, tap, tap, your farm can be tended to in seconds. Plus they are detachable to change or remove batteries and they will never fall down like with velcro or other adhesives. If you are able, you could mount them on a concrete wall which will help keep them cool. I've been running this way for over two years and have not had any battery bloat problems.
You can also drill larger holes in the pegboard if you're OCD like me and want cable management. Run the cables through the larger holes and they never get in the way. Run the charging cables to some usb chargers. These are the ones I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MO7JLZ2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sure, this method takes a little effort. But once you get it set up, it basically runs itself and is very easy to maintain.
Christmas presents, then this really nice cookware set, then a Wii U.
At some point I'd also like to get more Perk devices. Right now I have my Android tablet, my Android phone, and occasionally my sister's iPod touch(es). I range anywhere from 2-4 devices, but I'd like to have a dedicated farm so I can have my stuff back.
I would pickup a dedicated device to use for your router edge router lite and either re purposed your e2000 as a bridge/ap mode or pickup a dedicated ap or 2 ubiquity ap. Both are relatively cheap when it comes to price but offer great performance and lots of configuration options.
I like things neat and I'm not a DYI guy so I went and got one of these. I needed something upright to display them so I could see them from my couch. I got a 4 port hub from Wal-Mart for like $15 and PS4 charging cables for $5 a piece. Everything tucks neatly in the back. I also have a cheap China tab on the shelf under that.
Personally I would pay $2 more for anything that didn't say iPhone on it, or in it's description.
<--- Not an iFan as you can see.
Both state on Amazon: (White / Black) Exclusive PowerIQ™ Technology: Two ports with PowerIQ™ detect your device to deliver its fastest possible charge speed up to 2.4 amps per port or 5 amps overall.
Assuming from above the "5 amps overall" is correct for all 5 ports, this should be a good charger for, of course, 5 phones. Most only take 0.9 - 1.1 amps per to charge.
You could also check here for other topics just like this one. <-- I used the search box in the upper right for this.
I genuinely like using the Anker 25 Watt Charger
http://www.amazon.com/Anker®-Family-Sized-Desktop-Charger-Adapter/dp/B00DVH62J2 I used a $0.99 China 4 port unpowered hub to connect into slot 1 for 2.1 Amps to extend it even further without issue.
I have another 10 Port USB3 hub I use as long as the power adapter can handle all the phones 500mA max for USB2 x number of phones in this case 7 for the Amazon Basics = 3.5 Amps/4Amps max.
Yeah, the only one I might try would be the Anker 10 port USB 3.0 version, which has a 5 amp power supply, but that's a $60 hub. The Amazon Basics version has 5 regular ports on the back, plus 2 "high capacity" 2.1 amp charging ports on the front. The one I have on my desk, I use the rear ports for all my devices (mouse, keyboard, etc), and have a micro USB cable hooked up to the front for when I need to charge my daily phone (Galaxy S3) at my desk. It keeps up with the charging just fine.
You can get a charging station. Like this: http://www.amazon.com/Lipper-International-812-Charging-Station/dp/B001FB6TUI/ref=pd_sim_p_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=0DP2AC05MEVWSP9ZCGV8 or this http://www.amazon.com/Desktop-Smartphone-Charging-Station-Valet/dp/B009SEHC8C/ref=pd_sbs_hg_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=1KQQV01EB61S2BVWJ1D4 . This is not one but can also be used to place your phones in: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PTMJ9PQ?psc=1. Someone on here also said they just put their phones in a shoe box and ran the wires through the hole openings. And they just closed the top of the box at night so the light of the phones would not get in the way.
i got this one: http://www.amazon.com/Anker%C2%AE-Family-Sized-Desktop-Charger-Adapter/dp/B00DVH62J2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1395357873&sr=8-4&keywords=anker+charger
4 of them :)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NGQWL2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This works well for me. most of my phones run at ~.9 A so its perfect, my TF201 is plugged into the 2.1 A charger.
http://www.amazon.com/Moto-Verizon-Prepaid-Phone-Only/dp/B00HPP3QD6/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1404599504&sr=8-6&keywords=moto+g
I would rather invest extra $10 and get a 1GB ram and quad core cpu Moto G http://www.amazon.com/Moto-G-Black-Boost-Mobile/dp/B00HPP3VW2
http://www.amazon.com/Poweradd-Family-Sized-Desktop-Charger-Smartphones/dp/B00KHP6UVQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1421306614&sr=8-4&keywords=poweradd
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DVH62J2/ref=psdc_2516700011_t2_B00J5DS8NE
These are the most common ones.
How about
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DVH62J2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1415328527&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40 for 15.99
or http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009G072WO/ref=mw_dp_mpd?pd=1&qid=1415328527&sr=8-9 or 8.89
The more expensive one provides twice as much amperage for larger devices. Neither comes with USB cables. Personally I use individual power supplies as all of my devices came with them and I'm too tight to do anything else.
Edit: fat fingers
Return that charger and get the Anker. Its on sale for $16
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DVH62J2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A294P4X9EWVXLJ
Is there a reason we wouldn't want the 25W one here for $15.99?
It says all five ports charge Android at normal speed.
This: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DVH62J2
I have 3 iPhone's and 2 LG Motions and have no issues charging all of the devices simultaneously
This will be enough for lower end devices
Get this one if your devices are more power hungry
