They made 84,9m and the wages were 15,3m. subtract those and the rest of the EBITDA and you're left with 43.5m pure profit going to the chinese investors.

Its from 2017, 2 not 3 years ago, and since they only disclose their revenue data late in the year, they haven't released the 2018 numbers yet, but will probably do so in the next few weeks.

EDIT: Here's the data from 2018, released earlier than normally just a few weeks ago on companieshouse, page 12.
They're doing more than fine, financially speaking, and would continue to do well without MTX. There's more than enough room in the budget to increase the dev teams.

I'll break it down for you:

  • They earned 92.8m.
  • They had to pay 31.5m in general fees, like server costs and equipment depreciation
  • They had to pay 15.2m in wages, you know like paying your employees
  • They had to pay 1.7m in tax to the government
  • That leaves them with 45m in pure profit over 2018, almost 50%.

Estimated 20m of that is from MTX, so don't tell me they're not healthy enough to change the course if they wanted to.

I actually haven't talked to him in a while since he quit Smite, I'll have to get back with you once I find him. I'm sure there could be one that would have large enough buttons to work for you, just look around. Also, have you heard of footboards and joysticks?

https://www.amazon.com/Lemo-1640835-Control-Keyboard-Action/dp/B00B3PV47O/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1486920629&sr=1-2&keywords=Stinky+board

That's one of the cheaper ones, you basically do like with a car pressing your feet, weird at first but I would bind them to things like food or ability keybinds in games like RTSs so that I could still use the abils without the mouse, but it wasnt on the board. Hope it helped.

They're probably not so much quiet as much as you two have no mutual interests to talk about beyond whatever small and random event that inspired you to add them in the first place.

I can say with confidence my friend's list was composed largely with people who I found, during the brief encounter, very pleasant to converse with, be it at a fishing spot or camping a slayer monster.

However, usually the effects those random circumstances that bring about your initial affinity for the other party are typically very short lived and you realize you don't actually have much of a real connection with them. So you end up not talking to or deleting them very soon thereafter.

It happens all the time.

I now personally have 12 friends on my friends list, one who is a jmod I have on there for novelty because I saw them myself in-game and talked with and another is a random person I remember giving me full bronze, which I thought was the absolute most ballingest shit when I first started, so I would leave him and his e-gf alone. The other 10 people I talk to very regularly, about very diverse topics, from RS balance to politics to preferences of gum.

Have a look at this book to get an idea of why you may have so many people you don't actually talk with.

If you can purchase soon, this appears to be the one while the sale lasts. Desktop grade graphics with an 8th gen I5. This should do wonders for you! If you’re looking for something less “gamer-y” let me know and I can find more. I’ll keep looking as well but this is the best I’ve found so far!

Edit: the link....

Edit #2

This is actually in your price range- you’re losing out on some graphics performance but it should still be plenty to play the game smoothly. You won’t get max setting but it will play just fine!

Color changing fiber optic lights wired to a hidden battery pack in your back pocket. Or color changing LEDs. I know there are LEDs that you can get in a multitude of colors or even selectable ones, I can't imagine that fiber optics would be difficult to find as well. I'll try to find some links.

Edit: Okay, so here's what we've got.

  • [Your fiber optic strands]

  • Your LEDs

  • Your power source

You'll likely need some electrical tape and maybe a soldering iron, and some length of wire. I'm on my phone so forgive me for not knowing ahead of time, but you'll need to use the right type of battery: the LEDs come with 200 ohm resistors, so you'll need to match that up to an appropriate power source using V=IR.

Maybe you'll also be able to find a hosting to hold together your cables and the LED(s) but if you can't then I think you can just tape them right up. If all goes well, take the fiber optic strands and feed some through the cape, maybe tape or adhere some strategically along the bottom so they poke out, and maybe let some dangle.

Good luck if you give it a go!

That's an alright choice I'd say. The 1920x1080 resolution and also the display quality are good. However do know that the display is a bit dim according to this review.

How set are you on the 17.3" screen size? You can get the same 1920x1080 resolution in 15.6", in a much brighter display at that.

If you think you'll get into more gaming, and you don't mind not having that SSD right now (you can install one later) you can get this Clevo P650HP3 with a 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS display while it's still $1099. (note there's a similarly-specced MSI GP62MVR-248, but I would avoid that since the screen is very poor quality).

Cheaper and one of the best values right now is this Clevo. Same thing about SSD applies. There's this 17.3" version with the same HDD+SSD configuration as your MSI but a brighter display and a faster GPU. There are lots of configs of these Eluktronics Clevos, just avoid:

  • The Prostar N855HJ due to very poor display quality
  • The 4K version of the 15.6" N850HK1 since it's a PenTile not-true-4K display (there are other laptops with true 4K to get if you want 4K, and I also don't know how well NXT plays with 4K when it comes to DPI scaling or native-res FPS on a 1050 Ti)

There's lots of options, your MSI is an OK choice, but if you want more suggestions you could create a post on /r/SuggestALaptop too

>Would you say it’s a fairly good price at £600?

No, lol. You're overpaying:

You're very limited with what you can get for that budget. Laptops are more expensive than desktops. To get a laptop equal in performance to a desktop, you have to spend at least twice more.

You're likely going to have to settle for a laptop with an integrated graphics chip instead. Finding a capable laptop that has both a decent processor and a dedicated GPU is going to be really tough unless a miracle happens and it goes on sale.

Increasing your budget by $100 would put you in reach of a dedicated GPU. Is that not possible?

This is the laptop in question: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-E5-575G-53VG-Laptop-Windows/dp/B01DT4A2R4/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1482502812&sr=1-3&keywords=NVIDIA+940MX

The only issue with this is storage. It only has a 256GB SSD. While SSD's are faster than traditional hard drives, you won't have as much storage. I believe you can buy external storage devices, though.

This seems to be an example of what you can get for your budget: https://www.amazon.com/HP-i5-5200U-Processor-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B01L9KC8DG/ref=sr_1_8?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1482503312&sr=1-8&keywords=intel+i5+laptop

The problem is integrated graphics. I'm not sure how good the Intel HD 5500 is when it comes to running NXT but upping the GPU may not be possible for your budget. Looking around, this combo seems to be generally what your money can buy.

There's probably other sites to buy from, but I trust Amazon the most + they deliver quickly if covered by Prime.

Is this choice of word a clever social commentary on Treasure Hunter?

Elusive vs Illusive

From Amazon -- note Amazon currently has a sale for 20% off Treasure Hunter keys if anyone is interested

u/whosdr · 1 pointr/runescape

You'd be best off shopping used/refurbished. Something with a (preferably 4th gen or newer) i3 or better, 6GB RAM.

Mouse - Corsair Vengeance M60

Keyboard - CM Storm: Trigger

Headphones - ATH-M50

Speakers - None yet sadly, been eyeing /r/zeos and I'll get a good setup soon.

Monitor - Asus VS229H-P - I'm looking at getting an eyefinity setup eventually, I'll probably upgrade to 23-27" IPS monitors though... Need to save up a bit of money first.

And then I have a laptop for youtube/netflix while I play RS.

Sure it's not your ears that 🅱roke? If not, you could buy this new pair on amazon.

You're welcome! :)

I personally have been using the Razer Naga for over a year and it is great for Runescape and many other games. I hardly ever use my abilities with the keyboard, I just use the 12 buttons on the mouse for all the keybinds.

If you have been considering it, I would highly recommend.
Here it is for just over $60 USD at the time of posting http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E8CF268/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420422048&sr=8-1&keywords=razer+naga

I have a UTechSmart Venus and absolutely love it.

https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO

Pros:

  • Easy to change DPI

  • Higher DPI than anything else I could find

  • Re-programmable side buttons numbered 1 to 12. By default they act as a numberpad if you don't set a macro to them (bots are bad, don't use them for botting)

  • Every single button can be reprogrammed!!!

  • Easy to use software

  • 5 different "profiles" you can set and switch to.

  • Small "burst-fire" (triple left-click) button to the left of the left-click

  • Can set the LEDs to literally any color

  • Adjustable centerweights

    Cons:

  • Might be annoying for small, Donald Trump-like hands

  • Due to its large size it may not comfortable fit small mousepads.

  • Wired only, no wireless mode available.

If you decide to get it, I recommend setting one of the sidekeys to switch profiles for quick access, and to set a different LED color for each profile. I'm available to answer any questions you got =)
