As much as the extra price stings, i'd recommend the adonit jot pro over the MEKO ones, because it's not that much more expensive either. I've got both, the MEKO and the jot pro, and the jot pro is much better. The MEKO uses a plastic shaft that gives you a mushy feeling when writing, the adonit uses a metallic shaft directly connected to the disc. Both have replaceable tips. I use my jot pro to take notes in classes on my iPad mini and it's very comfortable and precise. Plus, it feels really good in the hand, it has a nice weight to it.

It appears that Gamestop doesn't stock them anymore? Not really sure. I remember it was really hard to get the one with the Power Tag for a while after someone advertised they were $15 on sale at Gamestop. Now it's normal to see them for $30-55. Perhaps Nintendo gave them a cease and desist and they stopped manufacturing the power tag? I don't know what the deal is.

Here's an amazon link, but some people appear to be receiving the version without the power tag, while others are getting the good one. It also appears that people are selling the power tag individually on eBay as well so maybe get a power tag from there as well as the version without the tag to ensure you get 100% what you need? Idk. All I know is that it's perfect for what it does.

They haven't even tested it, so that means someone said it wasn't compatible. Probably the USB 3.0 thing, like I said.

I'm not going to say this will totally work for you because I don't know all the factors that made this work for me but here is what I did. (my switch was also too far away to run a cable to). The powerline adapter was easy to set up and in my house the outlets they are in are on different breakers and that seems fine. After setting them up, plugging in the switch, and setting it to run on wired not wi-fi there's one more thing I did. In a connection test I saw my nat type was B also, everyone said that wasn't great and it should be A for best performance so after lots of googling I figured out how to change that in my router settings.

For me I have comcast so to get to my router settings I type 10.0.0.1 into my address bar and enter the default username and password for comcast (admin ; password) then on the left there is and advanced tab and under that DMZ. Enable that and for the host set the switch's ip witch you can see in the connection test, mine was 10.0.0.11 yours will probably be different. Save that then run a connection test again and it should be type A. Whatever router you have should have something similar so just google how to set up dmz for your specific brand.

After doing this I very rarely disconnect.

Well nothing inherently bad, but they were designed for Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, which pretty much fell flat and is being cleared out for bargain bin prices.

I caved and bought an ethernet cable and LAN adaptor for the Spongebob v Patrick Splatfest. Best $28.47 I've ever spent! I get additional value from it since I love playing MK8 online.

Team invisibility yo! I could be the worlds first ever nudist bank robber :p They both look like a fantastic prize, but the coasters get my slight preference because they are truly limited edition. I can't exactly get them very easily later :) (P.S. The one thing I would add to the coasters are little rubber feet. It gives them traction and provides an air barrier for condensation if you have a cold drink. Here's some I found on Amazon )

The squid hori pouches that are 20$ when you search “Splatoon coin bag” on Amazon are much larger than they seem! They’re 20$ because they are big enough to carry your Switch and accessories. The closest you could get to a squid coin purse would be to buy this case and then detach that little clipped on squid dude, I think. However, the Nintendo store website does have a lot of cool Splatoon merch if you want to check it out here ! Good luck :)

I don't know how comfortable grip is. I haven't used handheld mode ever since I got the pro controller. But it seems very sturdy and got 5 star reviews on amazon.


fyi try this goose neck mount if you want to play on the bed! I love this one when I'm feeling super lazy. But it's pain in the ass to adjust and put the switch on the mount. Maybe there is better one someone else can suggest.


Edit: forgot to mention, you cannot use the stand when its on the case! I wish it has a stand built in on the case. Also I dont know if it fits in the dock because I took it apart and replaced it with smaller dock.

Okay, after what many would say was a truly-insane amount of research into lint rollers, I can very confidently say that NO ONE makes refills for a roller of that size. At least that length.

However, pretty much all lint roller refills will fit the diameter, and that eventually led me to this. You can get the whole set up cheaper elsewhere, if you want it, but more specifically you can buy just the refills for it. They are 10 inches long, and the 25-sheet and 50-sheet ones would fit the Splat Lint Roller.

What you could do is chop 4 inches off of one of the 10" refills and it should fit the Splat Roller nicely. You can then take that remaining 4" of roller tape and slip it onto pretty much any standard size lint roller out there, like the one I linked above. Two lint rollers, one fresh as hell, and no waste.

I really can't turn off my engineering mind for anything, it seems.

I did the thing with the fake nails. Can't recommend it...
What I can reccomend is using vampire fangs... like these once.
They are a little pricy and you need two sets but they look good. There are probably others you can find that are cheaper.

I've read that the clear "disc tips" are great because the disc edge gives you a really fine point, and the clear lets you see the screen as you draw.

It's definitely nice to have a case, I'm not sure about this one specifically though. It might be worth it to look around for some reviews and see what other people think of it. I have this case though, and I would definitely recommend it.

Japan imports are probably your best bet at this point. Amazon has them from a bunch of different sellers for various prices, many of which aren't insane. I ordered mine for $32 from there recently, which isn't too far above the original retail price.

Here you go! Japanese characters display funny, so if that doesn't work, try this link and just type in "amiibo" in the search. You need a separate Amazon account for the Japanese site though. It's about 2500 yen, which is about $22.59. Even if you have to pay for shipping, that's a steal!

On Amazon US (as a prime member), the Japan Imports (Aori and Fire Fly) are $33.88 USD (bout 30% more per amiibo compared to normal 2 pack price IIRC). Might wanna try that, and hopefully that link gives you your Amazon Canada rendition. Additionally, if you haven't used your free month of prime, I guess this is a best possible scenario.
