This might not be exactly what you have in mind, but if I were going to display helmets on my wall, I would want each one on it's own "floating" shelf, the dimensions of which I would want to be same width and depth as the helmet. Maybe roughly 12x12 or 10x12 or so.

Another option could be hat racks. Maybe something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PMPWERA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_GS.-ybDF1G7X0

But it seems like a crapshoot, unless you maybe take your helmets to a store that sells something like these, and teat it out before you buy.

I've used a guitar stand in the past and it worked quite well. Something like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006NDF8A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LK-UBbE8KRGKG

I rested the pod of the tie on the top support and it displayed nicely.

Sweet collection! You should look into JW Rinzler's extensive making of books. Here's the first one: http://www.amazon.com/Making-Star-Wars-Definitive-Original/dp/0345494768 They are treasure troves of amazingly detailed behind the scenes info, photos, stories, interviews and just about anything and everything you could ever want to know about these movies. They will absolutely blow your mind. Highly recommended!

Yeah they're great. It's down to $60 right now on Amazon which is a great price tbh.

They did,but he's...not great. Kotoybouki or however you spell it released this set with Yoda and R2 and he looks FANTASTIC with the 1:12 figures-

https://www.amazon.com/Kotobukiya-Star-Wars-Dagobah-Statue/dp/B01GIKSSJA

But thats a little pricey for just a Yoda(that R2 is sadly NOT 1:12 scale). As others have mentioned, its only a matter of time before figuarts or Mafex does him,so you might want to wait.

That's nice. Didn't even know this existed. How much? Do you know what scale it is or how tall?

I just bought the Bandai 1/48 scale model kit and will be putting it together this weekend. I want to apply something like the Tamiya 87085 weathering set but I havent done my research yet to know what type of paint it even is or how to properly seal it.

I'm curious about this 1/50 from Sega also.

Looks like its a wallet sticker. You put it on the back of your phone and you can store your cards in it, at least thats what it looks like it. Basically like this one. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0128Z2LQU?psc=1

Just acrylic paint and some fine detail brushes. I use a combination of Testors Model Master and Vallejo acrylics. Harrop's tutorial vid on painting faces has a section where he goes over how he paints eyes in that I found very useful. It involves just painting the white in first and then using a very fine tip Micron pen, you just put a large black dot in the center of the eye. After that, then you go and carefully paint in whatever color the eye is supposed to be (you're just painting a slightly smaller dot over the black dot) to emulate the iris and then afterwards, painting another small white dot on top of that to simulate the highlight effect of an eye.

It takes a steady hand and some patience but it's fairly simple to do once you get the hang of it. I only recently started trying to paint eyes and faces on figures and it's taken a few tries to start getting the rhythm down.

LE 16.4ft 12V Flexible LED Strip Lights, LED Tape, 6000K Daylight White, 300 Units SMD 2835 LEDs, Non Waterproof, LED Ribbon, LED Light Strips, For Home/Kitchen/Car/Bar, Power Adapter Included https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MHLIFO8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_nnytybH3EWC4B

I bought this one first, but I didn't care for the bright daylight white lights, so I reordered the same kit with warm white lights. I couldn't find that link though. I used thin wire between the shelves. They're hardly noticeable at all if you work them just right.

I found one of these at Goodwill last year. Works great.

> I'm trying to figure out where to keep the extra parts.

https://smile.amazon.com/Darice-1157-11-13-7-Inch-8-6-Inch-1-37-Inch/dp/B001B0S2H6/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1518471791&sr=8-6&keywords=darice+bead+storage

Get one of those, or go to walmart and look in the hardware area and they have similar plastic cases for like $3-6. I have like 6 of these that I really try to jam all of my accessories into. I was just going through all my boxes last night to try and catch up on packing them.

Hi all!!
Long time lurker first time poster.

After a long hiatus I’m finally set on complete my Gentle Giant Animated series collection, one of my favourite lines in SW figures.

The thing is, I’ve been offered a Darth Vader maquette (this one ) on a local second hand store (lucky me! no shipping costs!), but taking a good look I found a couple of weird things, both on the back of the base:
First the serial number seems erased. No big deal for me, but this number is hand painted and judging from others statues I have feels difficult to fade this way.

Second and most disturbing issue: IT HAS A TYPO!!! ‘Dath’ Vader.
I mean..... for real???
So..... it is possible that this is a fake?? (if is a fake is a very good one)

Does anyone over here have this figure and can confirm me if they all have this typo as well?

It does look really good. It has a metal hilt and is modeled after the saber he used in ESB. They always seem to be out of stock everywhere. It seems like other venues sell them for around $600 USD.

If you want a compromise, you can get the Obi Wan Ultimate FX on Amazon.com for just over 80 bucks. Granted it's a plastic handle, but, it's still a blue lightsaber, right! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IJZFLSE?colid=KANO7NVAW0H5&coliid=IUCDVHSW3QV2N&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl
