I proudly own this CD and used to play it at every tournament. People loved it/hated it/had to go along with it:

Buggin' (as performed by Bugs Bunny on "Space Jam") is a real masterpiece as well (for about 30 seconds): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRNezSn1R3I

There is a reason you don't feed the seagulls. Just before one of the opposing players started making a deep cut, a stray morsel of food was swarmed by a flock of seagulls. A well timed up call distracted the poor cutter who was otherwise completely unaware of the horror he was about to experience. Instead of finding the disc he found himself running through a crowd of angry seagulls whilst screaming and swatting wildly at the air in an attempt to save his eyeballs from being pecked out. Meanwhile, the fierce Wildwood wind that we all know and love swept the disc to the height of the stunt kites before guiding it to a spot well beyond the back line of the end zone. The sidelines erupted in laughter and calls of "fifth man" were heard. The poor player was bewildered, confused, and visibly shaken, but he was able to regather his wits and play out the rest of the point. I don't remember which team scored that point, but the seagulls definitely won the game.

TL;DR Seagulls were the "fifth man"

Also, I ended up playing against an old friend that was wearing this:
https://www.amazon.com/YiZYiF-Tuxedo-Mankini-Bodysuit-Swimsuits/dp/B06ZYL64TJ/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1501517930&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=tuxedo+swimsuit+men

I have a vague recollection of someone posting a dare on Reddit for someone to wear this to Wildwood. Can anyone confirm this?

The problem is that your hands are greasy afterwards, so what you need is a really good degreasing hand cleaner. Get some Gojo or Fast Orange, it's what most mechanics use to get automotive grease off of their hands, and it can be used without water. It's a thick paste with pumice particles in it to help rub off oils and grease, so just rub it into your hands and then wipe off with a towel. I keep a bottle of Gojo in my bag right next to the sunscreen and it works super well.

Been using Flyers Ult G1 Gloves recently.
They are new on amazon, and me and my team mates love them.
High quality and comfortable.
They actually don't have too much grip, but remain super consistent in wet conditions, which is what i was looking for. too much grip just screws with me too much. They come with a carrying bag, which can be helpful sometimes, but probably isn't necessary.

Best value we came across was an Open Box discounted Sony 4K camera for $649 (online says open box is $679 but in the store it was $649). Looks and works as a brand new camera would. Allows for great zooming on edits, and slow motion quality. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-handycam-ax33-4k-flash-memory-camcorder-black/2948053.p?skuId=2948053&extStoreId=&ref=212&loc=1&ksid=3008cb63-eb76-4494-aa63-2fd6f0647127&ksprof_id=14&ksaffcode=pg174433&ksdevice=c&lsft=ref:212,loc:2

Combine it with the telescoping poll and connector mount with links below and you're set. PS you'll probably need a quality computer to edit the footage and certain programs can edit and export 4K while others cannot yet. It also takes up a lot of data and are large uploads so you'd need large memory cards and quality internet upload speed.

You could purchase/rent portable floodlights (something like this), but that would be expensive (not including generator) What we used to do is find a field that already has artificial light and then play on it's adjacent field. The field wasn't as nice, or as big, but there's usually enough spillover light to make playing feasible. Otherwise, find a local school and rent their gym for indoor. good luck

I've become a huge fan of wool socks. I thought the people using them in the middle of the summer were crazy, but since I switched over I haven't noticed any discomfort from the extra warmth and they protect my feet like crazy. These are the ones I use now and they work really well for me.

I'm looking for a new pair of cleats; the ones I have currently (these I think? mine are a similar pattern but are green; I'm assuming color's the only difference) are quite plasticy/hard on my feet and don't provide a lot of ankle support. I'm hoping for a pair of lacrosse or football cleats with more ankle support and cushion, as well as some give to let me go up on my toes when sprinting.

I'm women's size 8.5/men's 7, so trying on cleats in stores is a giant PITA. The Dick's around me only have women's cleats for soccer, which are too low in the ankle for me. If anybody has any suggestions on cleats or other stores to try I'd love to hear them!

I'm late now but for future reference - my friend (athletic therapist) recommends and uses 2nd Skin Moist Burn Pads on her players. They work like a dream.

I like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VPINN8

Backpacks are way more comfortable than duffel bags when you have a long distance to walk between fields. And soccer bags should get more love -- ball pockets are the right size for a few discs.

No parently advice, but the I've listed some small-size discs that could be good options. For a one-year-old, I'm having a hard time imagining her throwing a real disc, but I'd think rollers would be an option.

My short recommendation: a light mini disc that can be thrown indoors without breaking things (Wham-o is lighter than Discraft), a soft cloth disc, or a whiz ring. Any larger disc won't be throwable by a one-year-old, and will quickly become scary indoors in the hands of a two-year-old. Links and suggestions below.

My personal experience is limited to the Discraft mini, the Wright Life Wham-o mini (light and flies), the DDC disc, fastback, and Jstar, and miscellaneous other minis (avoid the heavy disc golf markers).

Discraft mini ultra star. Very small (4" diameter?) and flies. Heavy enough to be able to throw it reliably. Even lighter minis might be better indoor choices. http://www.dtworld.com/SuperColor-Mini-Star-p/dcsmin.htm

Double-disc court disc. 110g, I think. Smaller than Jstar and lighter, so it takes less power to throw. Not as wind-resistant. I think a Fastback would be a decent option in this category, too. http://www.dtworld.com/DDC-Disc-p/licwhf02.htm
http://www.wrightlife.com/flying-disc/wham-o-fb6-fastback-frisbee-original-mold/

Discraft J-star. This is the youth disc, smaller rim and diameter and easier to handle for small hands. But this is more for elementary school or middle school age. It's a great disc and flies well. 145g or so. http://www.discstore.com/discs/j-star-145-gram-youth-discraft-ultimate-disc

Come to think of it, having watched in terror as a 2 year old wound up and hurled a disc golf putter indoors, you might also consider a soft option, like the Pocket Disc: http://www.discstore.com/discs/pocket-disc-indoor-edition

Or maybe this soft kids disc: http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-Tootle-Turtle-Flying/dp/B003AHG2ZC/ref=pd_sim_t_5/176-7178806-2823751?ie=UTF8&refRID=1Z35A142BVVZ6DC98ZDT

These freestyle brushing practice Whiz Rings also take almost no effort to throw and are really light (less likely to break things/hurt anyone): http://www.wrightlife.com/flying-disc-sports/whiz-ring-fpa/

High Sierra Bubba duffle bag. $25 Amazon

It has a sidepocket for water bottles, a small pocket for phone and keys, and a large area for cleats, jerseys, and discs. It weathers pretty well but I wouldn't leave it out in drenching rain for too long. I like the color scheme and over-the-shoulder carry a lot. It's not perfect, but for the price it makes for a great bag.

Several people I play with use Gorilla Grips from Homedepot; I have used them and they work very well. Another industrial glove I have used is MaxiFlex Ultimate and I love them but are harder to find in stores.

I have tried Huck Nation (didn't like them at all) and Friction gloves (good, but not worth the price) and neither of them compared to the value of $3-$5 gloves found at your local hardware store. When in doubt look for gloves with a Nitrile coating and you will be very happy.

This whole thing reminds me of a great documentary I once saw about semipro mens fastpitch softball.
http://www.amazon.com/Fastpitch-Darren-Zack/dp/B00005J75U

It's got all the same storylines, an owner who wants to change the game, marginally real jobs for players, room and board provisions, heroes, villains, undergdogs, all ultimate needs to complete the story is a team comprised solely of First Nation drug and alcohol abstinence advocates.
Highly recommend it. Highly recommend it to the players on the Roughnecks as well.

I like the clipboards with internal storage so I don't have to worry about rain on my papers.

This is the one I use: Here.

Honestly, I like all the features it has; I can even keep a little whiteboard inside of it for diagramming things. I just kind of wish it had a little clip at the bottom to hold the bottom and top of papers since it gets kind of windy in the midwest and my papers fly all over the place.

While I suppose you could buy something like this, I'm not sure there is much functional difference compared to just going to a park with a soccer goal and aiming for top corner, bottom right, hit the post, etc. You would want something large so you have a significant amount of side to side variation from a single throwing spot. Having multiple target spots is nice, but if they are grouped closely that is probably less useful. For example, standing in one spot throwing at this, even though there are three targets it might as well just be one, there isn't much difference aiming for one over the other. Standing in one spot in front of a soccer goal, you can go 10 in a row OI into the (inside) right side of the net, 10 IO into the left side, land 10 hammers on the top, hit the post low, hit he post high, etc, all without moving your feet.

I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain they use SpotTek ST350. Amazon link below. I'm with you, I wear these things everywhere.
