My personal one was purchased because I was fed up with my current dull shitty knives, so it's a bargain no-name... I forget the brand, but it does the trick.

One that I can definitely vouch to death for is the Kiwi Chef Knife. It doesn't have the typical shape, but they are phenomenal and really easy to keep razor-sharp.

There was another Thai knife company that I can not remember the name of (fuck me, I wish I did because I want to buy it), but they make the best knife I have ever used.

I read that tumblr post too, but I have no idea if it's actually true! I want it to be, but does it apply to the Bark Off? Tiddy Bears? Rejuvenique Face Masks? Handerpants? Mop Slippers? Bumpits?

I don't know that we can always apply that wisdom.

It's a ridiculously comfortable pregnancy pillow. Keeps my back aligned nicely or can support my belly once it starts getting bigger. Plus I can use it as a nursing pillow after baby's born!

When you want to wind down at night, turn off the bathroom lights, turn this on, hop in, and it's peaceful. I've had it for about 2 years, I highly recommend it or one like it.

Get the silicon type, small size. You will never have a problem again. I can't wear those because I have super thick hair and it rips on it, but if you have slippery hair they should be perfect.

What we did at my house was get some:

craftsmen nozzles (lifetime warranty)

A roll of teflon tape for the threads

And some quick connects

No leaks, and is super easy to change hose attachments.

They've been on the market for ages under the name HotSnapz and HeatWave, among others. A typical pack of them costs $20 or so, and some come in fairly large sizes. I've used a hair dryer or even hot showers to get them back into solution, but someone in my dorm regularly just slips them onto their PC's radiator and lets it warm re-solution that way.

Huh, maybe it was the brand? Mine was very thick and sturdy, and I followed the instructions quite closely. I don't think mine is sticky at all. They do feel weird in your mouth...but they all do. :P I used a smaller size (my package had four mouthguards in two sizes) and it fit best. Did take a couple hours to get used to it, so I put it in a while before bed to get used to it.

Edit: also if you haven't been tested for it, ask about sleep apnea. Apparently 1 in 4 people with sleep apnea grind their teeth (I believe, maybe it's backwards and 1 in 4 people who grind their teeth have sleep apnea) so it's worth checking it out.

I don't have sleep apnea, I've been tested 3 times. I unfortunately just have health issues that cause the muscles all over my body to spasm all night. Sigh.
