Hey! This is a Tom Gauld comic! I've been a big fan for a few years now. He's an incredibly witty author and illustrator. I love his dry sense of humor. He's not the kind of guy that has work that is overwhelmingly "feel good", but there are moments sprinkled in that keep him wholesome and well worth the read.

My favorite book of his.

There's not much for general "what can go non-standard" with this, a lot of case studies are out there for the specific rarities though. For a good, general primer I would recommend my intro level textbook (mobile so long link, sorry) https://www.amazon.com/Human-Sexuality-5th-William-Masters/dp/0673467856
It's not perfect and has some points I specifically disagree with (mostly with their theories of attraction and how they present fetishes), but it is good.

Edit: I'll clarify my disagreement, they teach a modified version of Kinsey's scale, which isn't wrong but I feel is oversimplified and looks mostly at what a person has done. I ascribe to the tripartied theory of sexuality which means your sexuality is an interaction of three things: what you are physically attracted to, what you WANT to be physically attracted to, and who you can get. This means if you like men's butts, want to be attracted to large muscular chests, but can only get skinny women to date you then you have a legitimate but uncomfortable sexuality that will likely leave you unsatisfied. This also means your sexuality changes over time and based on where you are (hard to pick up women in the men's locker room, easier at a concert).

Might I suggest getting her a trackball instead? They are very handy, work as good as a mouse, but allow for a different experience, especially for those of us who have trouble with using a mouse. Variations here and here give you an idea of the choices available in form, like specialized keyboards.

Also, they may be coming out with a flip version of a smartphone (Samsung, I believe?) in the near future. Is your mom a Star Trek:TOS fan, by chance?

Also, you might try buying her a cheap tablet, and loading a few games into it, to get her used to using the form factor. (Hey, that's why Microsoft invented Minesweeper and Solitaire, so it's not as dumb an idea as it sounds... and not mine - obviously. "Good minds invent, GREAT minds steal. " heh )

No, it just devalues the deep meaning of the word by mixing it with "happy", "bright", and superficially positive things (i.e. "I'm in a good mood"--what if you're not? Something wholesome means something good comes out of that, too, if you understand what I am saying.) Wholesome here, to me, and in definition means healing, making you (more) whole again. It is not just pictures, etc. of a family being together, for example; it would be actual healthy personal interactions or interrelationship between them, which do not just happen. They sacrificed and you gain something even from their person.

Then you can have a remote! And if you care, the Lutron Caseta Bridge will allow you to control it with your phone, and it also integrates nicely with Home Assistant, if you want to go that route (look it up!). Otherwise, the dimmer and remote will work by themselves.

P.S. ♥️

To start up, you'll need a few basic things. The Bob Ross Master Piece Set has the majority of what you need (paint, knife, brushes), then you'll want a big plexiglass palette for mixing the paints. Finally, you'll need an easel to hold a canvas. I can personally recommend this one from Blick if you have one near you. Hope that helps, if you get into it, be sure to sub to r/HappyTrees to share your work!

Tell me; what is wholesome about any of this: 46% of male homosexuals report being molested, as compared to only 7% of heterosexual men.^1 79% of homosexual men say over half of their sex partners are strangers. ^2 Gay men, who are 1.65% of the US population, account for 63% of the country’s syphilis cases. ^3 In the Netherlands, the average homosexual in a “steady relationship” has seven to eight affairs per year. ^4

I don’t care what consenting adults do behind closed doors, but why does every single popular form of media have to promote homosexuality? You might as well be promoting wholesome heroin use for all the good that it’s doing these people.

I'm in a similar boat; the best thing to start with is not eating out as much, and whenever you cook make it fresh meats, veggies and fruits, etc. try not to do anything like a freezer meal because those are loaded with bad for you stuff.

I'm currently doing a program called The Hungry Girl Diet (though men can use it too.) it's a dietician approved program by Lisa Lillien. I've lost about 4 pounds in the last couple weeks, even though I've had a few cheat days. The basic premise is that you get big portions of healthy food so you really don't feel all that deprived.

I basically just cook everything out of this book. Check it out and see if it helps you. Best of luck, I know you can do this!

Okay friend so this right [here ](http://www.NongShim.com/ Shin Ramyun Noodle Soup, Gourmet Spicy, 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 20) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00778B90S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_FikMAbEZMZQNA)is my favorite ramen but I don't know how much spicy food you have in Norway (I'm from Southwest USA so spicy is my go to and this is spicy) so if you want something quality but not too spicy I found that [this one is really good](http://www.Maruchan.com/ Yakisoba Teriyaki Beef , 4.00 Oz., Pack of 8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0025UOMZM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_3kkMAbDG7SNXZ) and [this one](http://www.Sapporo.com/ Ichiban Noodle Instant Bag, Original, 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 24) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AH778M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_nmkMAbASTY94S) is a favorite of mine too!

The 5 Love languages by Gary Chapman

My wife has read it and I'm still getting into it. It's got some religious tones to it that I'm not super into, but the overall intent of the book is pretty positive.

If you like penguins may I suggest reading The Penguin Lessons, a true story about a man who saved a penguin from an oil slick and ended up adopting him and making him the mascot of a boys boarding school in Argentina.

Delightful tale!

I read this book on Buddhism long ago. One thing I took from it was the idea of impermanence.

When you're happy, cherish that happiness because it won't always be there. When you're sad, just know that these bad moments will pass. Nothing is forever. That principle has helped me so much in life, and I'm super thankful for it.

In general I agree with you but this Trader Joe's reusable grocery bag is perfect. It is made out of stiff material and is boxy so it stays open to load. It also holds a ton of stuff and is easy to carry for the customer even when it's heavy B)

Bandai (same people who made your Freeza model kit) have an entire line of Pokemon plastic model kits as well. They're not as complicated or intricate, but they still look great and are a fair deal cheaper too than the DBZ kits. Here's a listing for the Mewtwo kit on Amazon.

I just bought a bunch of these and I'm going to do a ball pit in our living room one day for her when she comes home. Added bonus is I'm going to use the dog's kiddie pool. So the dog is going to get excited and dive in too. I am hoping for hilarious mayhem.

Well, society's not telling anyone that. But yes, holy shit yes, it's ok not to constantly be talking.

There's this book you might like. I thought it was fantastic.

Yeah do they even put tomato in it anymore? Pretty sure it's just corn syrup with red food coloring.

Edit: Look at this crap I just discovered! https://www.amazon.com/Hunts-Natural-Tomato-Ketchup-Ounce/dp/B0050O8G6G

The product description literally says "Quality you can trust - hunt's ketchup contains absolutely no high fructose corn syrup, artificial Ingredients or preservatives, letting the natural tomato flavor shine through". Take a look at the picture of the ingredients label, the 2nd ingredient is literally "high fructose corn syrup".

Edit2: look at the Question and Answer section, it has a few people calling them out for their blatant lie and each of their questions are being downvoted. What the heck is going on with that???

Edit3: perhaps the worst part about the entire thing is the way that I stumbled upon this. I literally googled "ketchup with no corn syrup" and it was the #1 top post on google. What a scam.
