You could get away will spending like 1/2 the amount of the screen. Also, if mainly watching movies, get a 2.39:1 screen instead (or 2.35:1).
Not sure why the Epson 4040 is that price, the 5040 is $2300 on Amazon, but doesn’t come with an extra bulb or mount.
