would work fine. Just find any laptop around that price range and it’ll most likely be fine.
However you could build a desktop if having a laptop isn’t a necessity. For $600 you can build a fairly respectable PC that will last several years.
I’d go with this one if I’m not gonna do game and need a decent laptop. The only thing I don’t like is the touchscreen but it could be useful.
