Really funny timing with your post, OP.
Last night I was reading a thread and someone mentioned freezing buttermilk. I always buy buttermilk, use one cup, then throw out the rest after two weeks. So anyway, one thing led to another an I ordered these in 8 and 16oz sizes. I was originally going to get the ones OP got but opted for the square ones for better use of space.
I also got some nice ice cube trays to freeze things like basil and then plop into a zip lock bag.
I went through a quick list of all the things I buy, use half of, and throw out, and decided it was time to stop doing that. Plus I like the idea of having more things on hand when I feel like making something, but don't feel like going shopping.
