Yes, this one. You don't need to start with his complete study, though. His work is a bit daunting, being some thousands page long. You can start with Somervell's abridgement.

Highly recommend this guy if you're interested in basic general historic/social trends. Toynbee's premise was that civilizations develop through the process of adapting to environmental and then social challenges.
