[This one here] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00OT586RQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_zlFpzb75QQPCP) works very well for me. It allows me to get the same speed as wired and no drops in connection.
Loving it so far as I really had no room to use a wire and this fixed all the issues of having my router really far away.
I also have [this] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Computers-Accessories/TP-LINK-WN881ND-300Mbps-Wireless-Express-Adapter/B006BSPTAQ/ref=sr_1_10?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1499445732&sr=1-10&keywords=wireless+adapter) in the family computer which works just as good and I couldn't tell the difference, but the software was annoying and the USB one was extremely simple and convenient because you can use it on any PC.
Huh, I hadn't even considered a USB dongle!
Any in particular to recommend?
Something like this?
Will this work? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00OT586RQ/ref=s9_top_hd_bw_bT8fnL_g147_i6?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=0PP8F9Q3BYHMMG0PC4W1&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=b385a6dc-842a-569f-a8c2-81967fefc2c1&pf_rd_i=430581031

Edit, I went ahead with this one I will test it and get back. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015Z8EWGY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Edit: Hosting mode (using their driver) just would not function correctly and the application process in windows 10 just closes when you switch to host. Troubleshooting and returning if needs be.
This is the list from the post. He bought the suggested parts.

I have this cooler, slightly annoying to set up but a good cooler for the price.

Used to have this headset good quality sound and the mic sounds good, simulated 7.1 is good aswell for the price.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plantronics-GameCom-788-Gaming-Headset/dp/B00LNJZTTY/ref=pd_cp_147_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=1PY9QKDZ31F262YH8NGT
WIFI adapter is just a generic one from amazon it's fine for the price really
http://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-A6210-100PES-AC1200-802-11AC-Adapter/dp/B00OT586RQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449654430&sr=8-2&keywords=wifi+adapters
Keyboard there are some options but for £20 you might not get a great one I would recommend saving and getting a decent mechanical keyboard, it really is worth it. This corsair is a good shout at £65 but it is tenkeyless if that bothers you.

Edit: added wifi card and keyboard bit

or

This should do you well into the future as well
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00OT586RQ/
That should work. It plugs into any USB port and gives you 5ghz N and AC WiFi.

This thing?
Have you tried it btw?
I thought Wifi direct is like an "ancestor" of Miracast? ie necessary but not sufficient.
if you can't get your Ethernet port to then just make sure you get a USB adapter that is Dual-band [Something like this](https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-A6210-100PES-AC1200-802-11ac-Adapter/dp/B00OT586RQ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1510174974&sr=8-
6&keywords=wifi+usb+adapter+dual+band) would do. I used this temporarily and it was alright.
