My wife got me a great cutter as a gift a while ago and I have not really looked at them since, so I am no expert. However if you have a bit of patience you can always get a great deal on CigarBid.com or other cigar websites. They often have deals and you can probably pick up a nice one at half price. Just search [Xikar cut] (http://www.cigarbid.com/Auction/Search/?IsCatPage=False&PageSize=15&ViewType=list&SpecialSearch=False&SpecialSearchDisplay=&keyword=Xikar+cut&SortOrder=endingsoon&CategoryFilters=MERCHANDISE&AuctionFilters=&BonusBuyOnly=False) and you will get all the results. It looks like they have an Ave Maria branded Xikar Xi1 (Xi2?) for $13 which will probably rise a bit and a few other Xi2 and Xi3's that are a bit under retail. You have to see how much it shakes out with shipping. You can also wait for a deal on other websites that have an r/cigars discount and get them below retail. Just check the sidebar for the discount code. A good idea is to put the cutters you want in the shopping cart and websites will often send you an alert when they go on sale or send you a discount coupon. These are typically automated so give it a few days.
