Seriously guys, get ear plugs. Nothing hardcore about not being able to hear when you're 30. I recommend these, you can't see them when they're in and they have a few different filters. They don't muffle the sound and they don't fall out. EDIT: I've had the ER20's before too. They do the job, but I don't find them as comfortable and start deteriorating after a year of constant use.

Auf Empfehlung eines Musikerfreund habe ich bisher die Alpine Musicsafe Pro verwendet und war ganz gut zufrieden, die haben auch wechselbare Filter. Die Konkurrenzprodukte funktionieren aber auch alle nach dem selben simplen System. Ich würde aber vor dem Kauf einen Blick auf die Dämpfung der Einzelfrequenzen werfen. Die Alpine oben schützen zwischen 13 (tief) und 20 dB (hohe Frequenzen).
Solcher Gehörtschutz ist in der Disco und auf den meisten Konzerten eigentlich fast unvermeidbar, wenn man keinen Tinnitus oder Hörschaden riskieren will. Man muss sich daran gewöhnen, aber danach klingt die Musik je nach Abmische sogar besser und man merkt auch kaum noch, dass sie im Ohr sitzen.
An die Schutzleistung der guten alten Wachs-Ohropax (ca. 18 - 37 dB) kommen die aber auch nicht dran, deshalb habe ich die für ganz laute Umgebungen auch noch immer dabei.
