Yeah, I had yellow labs, and while they always looked tidy, their hair was constantly atomizing throughout the house. Here are some ideas:
1.) Limit the region that the cats can roam in.
2.) Keep slippers, or similar for walking around that region. Moccasins are best; rubber soles will grab and hold fur to track outside the region. Change shoes when you leave the cat space. Walking around the house will track fuzz everywhere.
3.) Keep Roombas or similar on high alert. Even outside the region where the cats are.
4.) Try not to wear cat fuzzy clothes into the area where you keep your clean clothes. Change in the bathroom, and wear a robe to and from your clean closet.
5.) Lint rollers aren't sticky enough, though their form factor is convenient. I recommend using a length of white gaffer tape wound around your hand. Gaffer is so much stronger, yet leaves no marks.

Do not confuse this stuff with duct tape. It's marvelous.
6.) Consider wearing some kind of long, light coat while you are home in your office clothes. A light robe, or a white lab coat for example. Keep it on until you walk out the door. Put it on when you come home until you can change into cat fuzz friendly clothes.
7.) Keep your bedroom door closed at all practical times. Cat fuzz is airborne and will gradually build up in the carpet in your room. A roomba will keep this buildup down.
Finally, consider anti allergenic filters in your HVAC system. Not just the spun fabric filters that you change every once and a while, but rather something that actively pulls out airborne pollutants. Your HVAC is actively spraying cat hair into every room of your house. A friend of mine had one of these, and it used static electricity somehow to attract dust and pollen into a capture device before that air passed through the furnace or AC.
