Well I'm sure that is part of my problem I'll update it in a moment.

One of the grouping I'm starting to look at is
Processor I7

Mother Board

Ram

GPU If I can't do the Ti depending on price.

In retrospect I kinda wish I had picked a motherboard that fit the theme of my whole setup a bit better (maximus ix code comes to mind) but I was determined to use only items Amazon could deliver next day, which kinda limited my choices, though surprisingly not by much.

Yet another reason Austin is an awesome place to live..

What does the ASUS Maximum IX Code add over the ASUS Maximus IX Hero and is it even worth it? Can't seem to find anything from searching.

Second question: Does AMD have anything in the works that can come close to comparing to the 1060 GTX?

I have two 4K monitors w/ Freesync and would like to actually use it, but looking at benchmarks there doesn't seem to be anything comparable by AMD except the R9 390X and it's ~ $100 more (and I can only find one made by XFX)

I see the 490X is supposed to be out 'soon', but my understanding is it's a competitor to the 1080, which is outside my budget.

How likely is that 1060 to run current games @ 4k 60fps? Should I expect 1440p to get a smooth 60?

And finally... is a 960 Pro SSD worth it over the Evo? They seem fairly comparable for the speeds that matter, so I feel at most I'm just getting 2 more years of warranty for $80.
