You shouldnt notice any real difference between a dongle and pci-e card for most if not all internet usage.
Even latency wont be that different.
But its not so easy. Usb dongles, as you might expect, are easier to proliferate, so theres alot of different "crappy" brands and versions out there.

I got this one and I'm getting lag in PUBG and on discord. Haven't tried any other games out yet though. Thinking of returning mine now and getting the one you have or a PCIe card instead.
