The dark might scare her and she only feels safe in your arms. I'd recommend a night light or lamp in her room. We use this mushroom lamp that has every color light and 4 dimming setting so our daughter's room is lit but not bright.
The other thing I can think of is that the swaddle is getting too tight/uncomfortable . She might need the 3-6 mo sizes now or she wants her arms free, I'd recommend trying a zip-a-dee zip, perhaps.
