There are nicer baris to be had, but not for the same price. I think I'd like to get a solid wood bari in the future, but I'm happy with the Caramel for now, especially for the price I paid.
Here's the thing, though, I didn't think it sounded great in DGBE tuning, I was even thinking about returning it but I put a set of tenor strings with a low G(low G bari strings aren't very common) and I'm very pleased with the results.
I play guitar, so it didn't seem necessary for me to commit to DGBE anyway. The accessories that came with the Caramel are all decent quality, again, for the money.
