Basically its a pyramid deck, 10 10s, 9 9s, 8 8s and so on, and similar to blackjack everyone goes around and either takes a hit or folds. If you take a hit and it pairs with another card you get that card's number in points, so pairing 10's gets you 10 points while 2's get you 2. When you hit a certain threshold you lose. There is no winner, just one loser. If you choose to fold you take the point value of the lowest card on the table, so rather than hit an 8, 9, 10 hand you can just take the 3 that your friend got dealt.

Its incredibly simple but its hard to understate how much fun it is. The one loser mechanic begs to have whatever drinking punishment you can think of.

Additional optional rules:

  • If you get a 7 you instantly get another card no matter what.
  • If you hit the exact point threshold you take an extra shot
  • If you fold and take a 1 you have to take a shot

    Careful, this will put the entire group under the table very quickly.
