tl;dr comfortable pointy flats?
I really like the look of pointy flats and I got these a while back; I usually do well with Clarks shoes and find them pretty comfortable. However after a pretty minimal amount of walking in these, my feet were killing me....these crush my toes, and I've got blisters in various places because the leather is quite hard.
I get that I shouldn't expect to be able to go hiking in dress shoes, but I would hope to be able to do at least a minimal amount of walking in them without wanting to throw them out a window. Am I expecting too much of dress shoes, or are there some more comfortable pointy flats out there for me that I just haven't found yet? Full disclosure, I'm kind of a wuss about shoe comfort, so although these got good reviews for being comfortable, I did not find it to be the case for me.
