It's probably bad. Some reviews I found on Amazon describe it as "smells great", "love the smell", "smells like mint". I did not see any describe it as a bad smell. Contact Davidson's for a replacement.

Nice, black teas are good also. This is some amazing mint tea especially for your new infuser. I take it you're a Beatles fan?
I really love the fandom blends. Adagio is brilliant for thinking that concept up.
Also I forgot to mention that Amazon has Davidsons bulk tea if you want to get crazy. I've heard the quality is pretty good, and it's 15 dollars for a pound. Which is crazy. Totally worth it, I think, if you really love a particular tea type and just want a boat load of it. They also have probably any type you'd want. I have my eye on the Moroccan Mint and the Earl Grey.
In the same vein, Harney and Sons also has bulk tea, like for the Paris tea.
