Here's a decent cheap $10 mouse. I've been using it for a while since my wireless one started ghosting. It feels cheaply made but I've had it for a few months and it's been holding up fine https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RJNE3TK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Honestly [this mouse]
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00RJNE3TK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479070205&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=gaming+mouse) is my jam. Cheap, reliable, I have 3 xD
Please forgive my bluntness but why is it so much better? Is it just because of the weight? I hear so much good stuff about the g502 but anything about the g305 is stellar so I am inclined to agree with you, I just wanted a bit of an explanation. (Came from using a $15 chinese mouse for three years and for the couple hours I've been using the g305 it does feel really great.)
Hey I was checking out your mouse and one of the proposition was this : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00RJNE3TK/ref=pd_aw_fbt_147_img_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=QSHJ8VES8X32CRZMS157
It had better reviews, more dpi settings and for the same price. Would you recommend this one?
Well when I was in the Air Force I wanted a better mouse as well. I ended up buying this guy since I sure as hell wasn't going to get the Air Force to pay for a new mouse. For 10 bucks it's not to bad.
For those that like the guy's mouse.

This is the newer version of what he has.

I have this mouse - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RJNE3TK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.i97AbNW1D5JQ
And this mousepad - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014CP231W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Vj97AbPX178PG
Very Possible, I've seen many 8 variations of it that are almost the same thing. It's fascinating how fast China can steal ip and rebrand it. Example:
