It's slow enough that you can use single link dvi which is basically an old version of hdmi in some ways.

You're GPU has 2 HDMI ports - and you're saying that you couldn't get it to output anything, on either one, to multiple different displays?

If neither HDMI port has ever worked, I'd look into RMAing the card as defective.

The motherboard you've chosen does not have an HDMI port, only DVI-D, VGA and DisplayPort. You can use the DVI-D port since it uses the same signal for video up to 60Hz but DVI-D does not carry audio and you'll need a $7 adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CXY79KR/
If you need to use your monitor's speakers or >60Hz video, you'll have to use the DisplayPort. Or you could find a mobo with HDMI.

If the second monitor doesn't receives a signal, you'll have to enable the Intel graphics in the BIOS. Sometimes it's disabled to save energy when there's already a video card.

So the adapter is something like this? Have you checked the monitor menu for what input it tries to use. Also have you tried to restart your computer after plugging the monitor in? Sometimes adapters cause the monitor be detected only after restart.

I'm on mobile, so maybe you can find a single one if you only ever plan on doing this mod in one cabinet (I'm going to do it on my Marvel one when it comes, too).

I mean as long as the PC isnt slow AF (which that ones nothing close) anything with two display out's can do two 1440p monitors if you're not gaming. Id just recommend getting some cheap graphics card so you have a fully featured GPU and enough VRAM to drive the monitors smoothly.
