Thank you so much for your detailed reply! To be exact, it was the Elomi Amelia EL8740, and yes it was a US 42H/UK 42FF. The bra was $78, and I would really prefer something under $25, but I am willing to go up to $50. Or, I guess, if there's really nothing out there, just suck it up and buy one Amelia bra. (I'm a student, and also trying to lose weight, so I don't want to spend too much money now.)
Having confirmed that the fitter did get US 42H/ UK 42FF, would you stick with 42F as your answer? And that would be a US 42G? In terms of US sizes, would you recommend trying any DDs or DDDs as well, since they are more widely available? (Are they considered sister sizes?)
Hm, I think it may be the latter in my case - I think I have a broad ribcage. :(
