If Freya is too pointy, it could very well be that the bras are a bit too projected for you. Another possibility is that the wires are a smidge too narrow.

Two brands that work well in your size range are Panache Sculptresse and Elomi. In general Elomi is known for wide wires, but the Elomi Morgan and the Elomi Kim tend to be reasonably narrow. Additionally look into the Elomi Charley (the plunge that is all lace), this one is supposedly based upon the Kim and has a j-hook in the back, allowing you to convert it into a racerback.

Sculptresse is narrower than Elomi and closer to Curvy Kate in shape. FYI, the most narrow and most projected bra out of the Sculptresse line is the ChiChi, which is based upon the Panache Jasmine. I don't know too much about the rest, but I think you cannot really go wrong with Sculptresse as a brand (just stay away from the t-shirt bras for now, those are most likely too shallow).

Another bra to look into would be Panache Andorra Fullcup, bc this bra is known for having straps that are a bit more inward. Andorra has a medium projection and a medium wire width, so you could test whether this shape works better at the same time.

If the wires of the Freya bras are just a smidge too narrow and cause the issues, try the Fantasie Balcony bras, especially Fantasie Leona.
