  1. a knee pillow for when you're sleeping can help a lot! Something like this.

  2. The Mcgill big 3, google it. They're good core exercises that can help with this.

  3. Walking usually relieves pain after getting past the initial discomfort.

  4. Heating pad sometimes helps.

    5)This may help if it's a herniated disc symptom. (Mckenzie technique)

  5. Stretching helps also. Usually the hamstrings are tight and need work. Personally the figure 4 stretch helps me the most.

I use that exact pillow plus one of these knee pillows. Not sure if that might be part of your issue, but I was really surprised at how much the knee pillow helped out my neck/back.
