ok that makes sense. That was why I asked. Might I recommend the evga series psu?

I've had pretty good experience with them, and that specific 650w is slightly cheaper than the antec you chose

more convienent, yes, but the price isn't too much of a difference.

You're looking at an extra $30 off amazon:

why would I buy from you when I could buy from a reputable dealer for less https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-GS-1050-V1/dp/B00SOXNKAM

I looked at the driver change-log for Crimson- it actually would solve my issues:

[422671] Flickering corruption may occur in Dirt Rally™ with Advanced Blending enabled

[422675] Intermittent BSOD occurs when launching a race in Dirt Rally™

[425484] DiRT Rally™ crashes during gameplay and benchmarking when launched in DirectX 11® mode on some BENQ 144HZ Freesync monitors

[58495] DiRT Rally™ crashes during gameplay and benchmarking when launched in DirectX® 11 mode on some BENQ 144HZ Freesync monitors

  • I use an Acer monitor, but it's a 144hz freesync monitor nonetheless. I don't know why this same note is listed twice.

And under known issues; still unresolved. I guess I just gotta turn off freesync.
