Neither tent is really "name-brand" but fuck all if they aren't getting the job done!
A tent isn't absolutely necessary, but having reflective surfaces surrounding the grow space will help contain/reflect the light back at your plants. You'll also need to lightproof everything during flower... and light can usually leak through the edges of a closet door. A tent will also allow you to leave the closet door open a bit, so you get get fresh air exchanges into the grow space.
If you don't have a way to pull fresh air in and exhaust hot air, that closet will eventually turn into a large ez-bake oven (your efficient, relatively low wattage light will mitigate this some, but you will still need air exchanges). You can get a 2x2 tent for $63.
Regardless of tent/no tent, you'll want a carbon filter & fan (with controller) during flower, or your whole place will smell like weed. (Don't skimp out on the filter... the one I linked is legit/works properly).
I know that all tacks on another $250 to your grow setup, but they will easily pay for themselves after your first harvest. You can get started without these items and get them over the next couple of months while your plants are vegging. (also check craigslist... you can often pick up used tents and fans for cheap).
