I do love my stand mixer, but I don't make a lot of bread. I am more of a cake, cookie, and treat baker, so it makes it convenient for me. You have to do what's good for you. I would NOT buy that KA if you are intending to do the bulk of your baking as breads/pastries as those will tax that motor too much. It is, however, fine for cakes, cookies, and treats.
