If the cable itself is bad, this looks like a good replacement since most others are nylon braided, aka makes noise when it touches anything.
If you have to go inside the cups to repair them, get a long solder tip and a tiny one, plus some 26-28ga wire. It's not terribly difficult, I just had issues since I can't see anything closer than 8" with my glasses on, and can only see from 4-6" away with them off lol.
