psu is absolute garbage

also it was written by someone

>DDR5

who thinks DDR5 exists, which is not a good sign. And if the retailer wrote that then that's really pretty dumb of them.

And the motherboard is on the extreme low end even for an AMD AM3+ board, I can't see the FX 6300 not throttling.

I wouldn't buy that system in a million years.

And you have no case.

https://www.amazon.es/Corsair-CX-CX450M-alimentaci%C3%B3n-certificaci%C3%B3n/dp/B019NWTCEA

This is a far more suitable PSU (ignore all wattages, this has just as much output as that "600W" thing you posted and is a million billion times better in every other way).

https://www.amazon.es/Intel-BX80662I36100-INTEL-I3-6100-2X3-7GHZ/dp/B015VPX2EO

I would get an i3 instead of the 6300

https://www.amazon.es/Intel-H110M-S2H-GA-H110M-S2H-Placa-base/dp/B01649KMZS/r

And DDR4 ram

https://www.amazon.es/Ballistix-Tactical-Memoria-PC4-21300-288-Pin/dp/B013SMKJSO

And for the GPU, an RX 480 or 470 (can't read that language, not sure if it says not in stock or what)

https://www.amazon.es/Sapphire-Radeon-480-Nitro-GDDR5/dp/B01IQS6QE6

Hard drive is fine but you need a case as well.

Thanks for the quick reply, I've just formatted the parts and searched them on Amazon for the parts, I feel like getting ripped off. Because I showed him the parts to buy for me then completely changed my build. This was my build when I showed him, I feel like my build is much better than what he offered me

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01649KMZS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1/. Well thats the motherboard and this is my first ever build so i literally have no pc parts

u/Ceadarz101 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

First get an i5 6500 and a new motherboard . Then later get 16gb of ram and a newer gpu like a gtx 1060 6gb. Edit: you should also get a good CPU cooler, and a 144hz monitor.
Also, I just noticed the part asking what would affect performance the most the CPU and CPU cooler would be the biggest difference, then the gpu, then the monitor, then the ram.

Any suggestions for a fairly portable desktop case? My work requires me to move to a different town pretty much every single year for the next few years. So ideally, I'm looking for a pc case that can be easily carried, eg has handles or has a carry-friendly form-factor, and isn't too big.

Just to make sure it can house its components, here are the parts I've picked:

  1. EVGA 600W PSU

  2. Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060

  3. Intel Core Skylake Processor i5-6500

  4. Gigabyte H110M-S2H Motherboard (Socket 1151, H110 Express, DDR4, S-ATA 600, Micro ATX)

    Thanks!

Okay, thanks a bunch for all the info, as you can tell I'm a novice with all these so appreciate all the advice to help me get everything sorted cleanly, have a good night man!

Just checked the dimensions of that motherboard link, turns out it'd be too big for my case so lucky I didn't get it.

I'm going to order this one and get a 8gb hddr4 ram: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-H110M-S2H-Motherboard-Socket-Express/dp/B01649KMZS
If there is anything wrong with that then please do say, I have a feeling I'm missing something as it's a very cheap price for a 1151 socket, 5 usb ports, ddr4 ram etc.

Should I be considering a CPU cooler or should the 2 fans I bought and the fan already on the case be enough?

You might want to:

Instad of buying the i3-6100 buying the i5-6400, in amazon.co.cuk it's only 60 punds more.

And instead of this motherboard, buy another H1100 which is 20 pounds cheaper. So in total you spend 40$ more but you get more power and a i5, regardless, do research if it meet your needs!

And [this ssd is cheaper] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-PLUS-Sata-inch-Internal/dp/B01F9G43WU/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1483976661&sr=1-3&keywords=ssd)

However, I'm not an expert but I would consider it, get more opinions!

I realise this is kinda against the rules, but I was bored so I made a PC for you :P
