Wired for sure! You don't want to die due to signal strength or battery issues do you?
If you DO go wireless, here a some things to point out. Most wireless keyboards you pickup in a store have a range of like 6 feet (which from personal experience only work well within 3-4 feet). Most don't don't work well unless the receiver is line of sight. That being said most people prefer the receiver to be in the back of the PC instead of jetting out from the front ports.

I picked up this model which also allows you to use the mouse without a flat surface - has a built in gyroscope. The mouse also has a nice cradle for charging. No complaints so far, and I've been through a ton of wireless sets that all sucked for one reason or another.
