The Q200C uses a 5.25 Uni-Q driver array, flanked by two 5.25 bass drivers, to properly fill your home theater with an undistorted and incredibly full sound. Our Uni-Q driver array perfectly replicate dialogue in any movie with incredible precision. The two drivers that comprise the Uni-Q act as one source, much like the human voice, to give you the best listening experience possible. The Uni-Q array is complimented by the duet of 5.25 inch bass driver, which serve to bring you all the thudding, booming low-end frequencies without a hint of distortion. Our Z-flex surround on the Uni-Q drivers smooth the transition to the front panel, allowing the Q200c to deliver clean, punchy sound without colorization.

Here is what I would consider
These are the older Q series that just got retired. Pick these up with the matching center while they are still around. The Q500 are the smallest towers of the Q series and should fit nicely into what you're trying to do. While slightly over budget they are close and I think they look and sound great.
Here's how I'd spend $3000:
AVR - Denon AVR-S910W $350
Subs - 2x SVS PB1000s $950
Mains - KEF Q100B $450
Center - [KEF Q200CB](http://www.amazon.com/KEF-Q200CB-Center - Channel-Loudspeaker/dp/B00CE3LGZY) $500
Surround/Rear - 2 Pairs Micca MB42X $180
Total: ~$2500. Enough left over for stands, cables, banana plugs if you want them, etc. That AVR supports Atmos and DTS X so you can substitute the rear surrounds for some ceiling speakers if you'd like.
How important? The KEF Q200C is $500, which is a lot more than I want to spend on a single speaker.
Thanks! I see it is on sale for $400, is that a good price or should I wait it out?
