Sony MDR-G73 headphones. These are the best over-ear headphones ever. They sound fantastic for simple headphones. They are so comfortable I used to forget I had them on. They were around $35, and I had a pair that lasted for years before they finally wore out. Now, they're discontinued and the last pairs in existence are selling on eBay for $75.
I've never been a huge fan of Sony. Why, oh why did they have to discontinue the only useful pair of headphones they've ever made? WTF, Sony!?!?
There's a brand called kicker that makes a similar knockoff pair, but I've had 3 pairs crap out in a year because they're nowhere near as durable.
